Update, 11/27/2020: Five years later and it’s still working perfectly. Even though we’ve used this remote door opener every day, sometimes several times a day, we haven’t had to change the battery. I’m really happy with this opener. Update, 11/08/2029: Four years later and my Liftmaster Overhead Door Remote is still working perfectly. And, I’m still haven’t had to replace the battery. Excellent product; easy to install and even easier to use. The Liftmaster Overhead Door Remote works perfectly, and it’s easy to pair with your Liftmaster Overhead door control. When we finally got around to purchasing a garage door with an electric opener (after 43 years of lifting a heavy overhead door by hand), we decided to purchase an extra remote opener. Since the installer wanted more for the remote than Amazon was offering it for, I ordered the Liftmaster 891LM remote opener from Amazon. I was a little concerned that I might not have been able to pair it with our new system, but that couldn’t have been easier. It comes with simple to follow instructions. As it turns out, there are a couple of extra buttons that don’t do anything, kinda like Congress; they’re there, but nobody knows what they really do. No matter how hard you push them, not much gets done. Anyway, the extra remote has come in handy many times, and it functions perfectly.

This paired immediately with my 98022 LiftMaster opener and has worked flawlessly since.

Works great. Uses Cr2032, which was included but nearly dead. I saw another reviewer mentioned that battery also. I installed a Li2032 rechargeable instead. Arrived quickly and was complete in original pkg with original instructions. Brand new and nearly perfect! Addtnl note: at first seemed like weak battery. But there was interference from the opener’s light bulbs which were LED. Once removed the opener worked perfect!

Our 3 button remote gave out so replaced it with this one. We didn’t use the all the buttons so this unit works fine. It was easy to program but noticed there is a slight delay after pressing button. Otherwise remote works fine.

Wish I would've done this years ago. At first I bought the wrong product tried and try to make it work, but it wouldn't hook up then I went back and got the exact same garage door opener I already had with the name and everything exactly the same. I barely put the garage door opener button and it paired right away! So happy don't forget people you have to put new batteries in your garage door opener just cause they stopped working doesn't mean they're broken.

Had trouble programing the garage door opener in my car with the aftermarket opener I had. Bought this one (it is a Liftmaster garage door opener) and it worked great to program the car opener. Worth the money for that. Package came EARLY the next morning after ordering it.
