I live in Europe and had them shipped from Amazon USA. To my surprise, they were there 3 days later! They are beautifully packed in a presentation box which make them ideal as a gift item and keeps the flavour in. The size is larger compared to the ones I have bought before and is ideal for a large piece of fish. The smoke and taste was slightly stronger than some other cedar planks, a pleasing surprise. Will definitely buy these again.

I want to dispel some of the concerns mentioned previously. This appears to truly be cedar. I compared the grain with images on line. The packaging was great, much better than expected. No boards were glued together. I haven’t cooked with them yet, but they look like they’ll be great for my salmon.

I only have one concern some of the pieces are laminated or glued together, but I have not used the planks yet, I will know more after I have used them a time or two. the board that I work on at home maybe thicker and larger but it is a solid piece of Cedar, scrap lumber and it works great .!

These do the job - cooking plank salmon on the grill. The planks are beautifully packaged in a box that you save for trinket storage, etc. The boxes are also held in canvas bag. Some electronic equipment is not packaged as well as these planks. Most importantly, the planks are smooth with no splinters.

These planks made delicious grilled fish, and held up well in the grill. They are beautifully packed -- would make a great gift for the chef in your life. Opening the box, the fragrant smell of the wood is strong and fresh.

I do a lot of grilling on cedar planks as we love the flavor it imparts on our fish and other meats. That being said DO NOT buy these planks. The box says "MADE IN CHINA" on it, and the planks are NOT solid wood. Several of the "planks" that I noted in my package were actually 4 pieces of wood glued together. Several others were made up of 2 or 3 pieces of wood glued together. There is NO WAY these would stand up on the grill and you would end up with 3-4 separate pieces of wood under your fish. It would be a nightmare to cook with. These are very lightweight and do not feel like genuine cedar. They also had a very strong odor that did not smell like natural cedar when I opened the package. Spend your money on a product made in the UNITED STATES as we have MORE than enough cedar to go around, and you can get solid-wood cedar planks for a comparable value. DO NOT BUY THESE.

We were impressed with the overall quality of the wood planks and how well they worked on the grill. They arrived nicely packaged for easy storage until the next use. Considering the quality, they are a good value for the cost.
