Will this heel lift sink to half of its height when wear in shoe?

I got for my brother - & they didn't sink. He's about 235 lbs.

I need a soft insole with a resulting height increase of 2.5cm in my left leg only. Which size would be recommended?

Depends on the shoe - If you're wearing Doc Martens -- something with a little heel already - you can go for the middle size - Flat shoes, goes for the bigger size - although slightly uncomfortable if you're going to walk far.
