What’s the difference between older model and this?

I found this article www.hifihelper.com/ht2050a-vs-ht2050 helpful for not only listing all the differences, but helping you to understand if those differences would make much of a difference or not. I ended up going with the newer model and I'm glad I did, but now it makes more sense what some of these upgrades do or when they might be useful. Because even though I'm not really taking advantage of them now, they might be helpful in the future and now I feel like I'll be able to get more out of this projector. REALLY awesome projector by the way! Definitely worth spending the money to get one of these over the ones that cost a little less! Hope that helps :)

Just how dark does a room need to be to use this projector?

It will work even in a well lit room. The projector also has a “Bright” mode that’s even brighter but I think normal mode is fine even in bright light

How does this look in the day time

It’s a fairly low lumen unit so light must be controlled in order to get the most out of it. Obviously the darker the better. If needing a projector for daytime use look at a much much higher lumen output unit
