Sealed up rubber boots, like it should
Easy to apply. First I brushed the areas, cleaned with alcohol, and roughed-up the surfaces. I used Popsicle sticks, plus wooden toothpicks in tight areas ti shove the product into the cracks and spread it all around. It sets relatively, so work at a good pace. I had three different pairs of boots that needed various repairs, some with holes above the toe area, some with side damage, and one where the insole (outsole?) was separating from the footbed. This repaired them all, and I only used half of one tube (I bought two tubes, just in case). I did it outside in the shade, and let them dry for a few hours before bringing them inside. They were fully usable the next day, and no leaks!

Sealed my Simms bootie seams, no patch needed
The trick to a clean result is prep. I cleaned the spots and leak-tested first with isopropyl alcohol to find exactly where it was going, then applied a thin layer and let it cure flat and horizontal. Do that and the repair basically disappears. You cannot even feel it inside the wader against your foot, which is what you want when you are standing in water all day. The one thing to plan for is the cure time, a solid 8 to 12 hours before you use them. I let mine sit overnight. There is a separate Cure Accelerator that gets you to about 2 hours if you are in a hurry, but I was not. So far so good, and it is holding. It is a staple in my kit now. If your waders start leaking at a seam, this beats replacing them, and you may not even need the patches. Prep the surface, cure it flat, and give it the time.

Did the trick
I was pulling on a snag and it let loose. Of course, it snapped back, and the hook went directly into my waders. It left a decent sized hole when removed the hook. Tis patch kit did the trick so far.

Seals leaks!
A little pricey, but you get what you pay for. This is the first patch kit that I have purchased that actually works. I followed the directions, let the patch set about 12 to 13 hours and no leak!

The GEAR AID Wader and Boot Repair Kit for Neoprene and Breathable Waders is designed to offer a quick fix for damaged waders, but it falls short of providing long-lasting solutions. Hereโs a brief review based on its performance: ### Kit Components The kit includes Aquaseal FD Adhesive and patches, which are intended to repair tears and punctures in neoprene and breathable waders. The adhesive is easy to apply and the patches are durable enough for immediate repairs. ### Effectiveness and Durability While the initial repair works well and seems to seal effectively, the fix only lasts for a few uses before needing another repair. This indicates that the adhesive and patches may not provide a permanent solution for frequent anglers or those who subject their waders to rigorous use. ### Ease of Use The kit is user-friendly, with straightforward instructions that make the repair process simple even for beginners. The Aquaseal FD Adhesive dries relatively quickly, allowing for minimal downtime. ### Value for Money Considering the limited durability of the repairs, the value of the kit is questionable. Itโs suitable for temporary fixes but may not be cost-effective for those needing more robust, long-term solutions. ### Pros and Cons **Pros:** - Easy to use with clear instructions - Quick-drying adhesive - Effective for immediate, temporary repairs **Cons:** - Repairs only last for a few uses - Not a permanent solution for heavily used waders - May not be cost-effective for frequent anglers ### Conclusion The GEAR AID Wader and Boot Repair Kit is handy for quick, short-term repairs, but its effectiveness diminishes with frequent use. If you need a temporary fix for your waders, this kit will do the job, but for long-lasting durability, consider seeking more robust repair options or professional repairs.
