Super pliable & easy to work with
This was my first experience with foam clay. I love how lightweight it was on the finished item. While making a number of trim pieces and embellishments for a single item, the weight (and balance) of the finished item were a concern. No worries though - those elements barely added any weight at all. I bought & opened this package in December. I didn't open again for several months, and finally pitched it after spotting faint mold discolorations yesterday (in the final days of May). That's an incredible opened-pkg "shelf life" compared to homemade cold porcelain. My only "complaint" is that detailing and edges produced (from the individual molds) are the tiniest bit softer than homemade or commercial air-dry clays. And that attribute just lent a gentle "weathered" quality to my molded elements, which were simply perfect on the finished product. Had I not seen the same embellishments made from other air-dry clays, I wouldn't likely have even noticed this subtle difference. And speaking of differences: The final finished clay work is like tough, rubberized foam. Sealing the piece provided additional reinforcement. While it's nothing you'll be cutting diamonds with, the foam clay was a great option to embellish a hand-made, customized gift. Bonus: If the recipient drops the finished item, or even drops something on it that makes contact with this finished, dried foam clay, the chance of breakage or cracking of the embellishments is virtually zero. I'm very happy with this product's performance and won't hesitate to buy it again for similar applications.

great for cosplay!
i love this clay! i am a huge fan of using foam clay for prop making and this one is very good. it blends well and dries into basically an EVA foam texture, itโs not just your average fluffy air dry clay lol

Kept me from surgery. Don't even think about it anymore......done.
Perfect for prosthetic shape for that unique hernia that you can't quite get with off the shelf trusses. Still need the truss just mold whatever shape you need and put it in where the "stuffed sock" that comes with the truss goes. Lightweight and any shape. Very rigid once it dries about two weeks.

Fun , but limited
If you are deciding whether this clay might be useful, buy the smaller size. I bought the 1.1 lb size, and I don't know if I will ever use it all. Pros: light, soft, fun to play with, has about an hour of work time before it starts to harden too much to manipulate. Would be fun for kids. Air dries after about 48 hours. Cons: a bit too soft, and the sculpted object will not hold its shape until about after an hour, so it's difficult to support a piece in that time if it has vertical elements. It also sort of squishes down if it has any substantial weight to it. When fully hardened, after about 48 hours, it is too fragile for many projects. I've seen images of flowers with thin petals made with this, and I would not recommend using this clay for that kind of sculpture because the thinner it is, the more likely it will break. While it's advertised as being for use in making "cosplay" , it breaks very easily, so I don't think it would be good for things like ears, or anything that could stick out and be liable to bang on a doorway or another cosplayer. It might be useful for chunkier cosplay parts, but I wouldn't use it for very large items, like masks, or ornate armor pieces because it would be tremendously disappointing to spend hours making something only for it to break if you accidentally knock it off a table. You can see from the video how easy it is to break, also, it's easy to leave marks on the fully cured item. Final rating: While it appears to have more cons than pros, this is in reference to my intention of being able to build cosplay pieces, which I don't think this clay is really suited for, except for specific circumstances, I gave it four stars, because I can see it being fun for kids to play with. It's easy to use, doesn't require baking, and it's fun to squish around in your hands because of its soft texture.

Great product. I saw this on YouTube and it saved me slot of effort and cost while I made a fnaf Bonnie costume. Used for teeth and other parts. You can also use this for many other uses

Super lightweight and easy to use!
I made a mask with this and it's unreal how lightweight this material is. I fell in love with it. Keep in mind it's a little slimy but I think that's just the liquid keeping it from hardening. After it dries it's a nice foamy texture. I recommend putting on a primer before painting!

Amazing! Check my comment for tips
Love this product so much! The container it comes in is also great for storage afterwards as the product itself comes in a bag inside of it which the foam unsticks from the bag great. Iโve used it for the scale texture on my dragon mask as well as all my small spikes and the teeth. The durability once dried has withheld me being clumsy multiple times. Takes paint really well too! in my experience adheres to Eva foam, kids craft foam, and paper machete really well. A little does go a long way with this stuff, I really thought when I first ordered this iโd have gone through it within the day but itโs very surprising how much is really in the container Hereโs what iโve learned with this product as iโve just bought my 3rd tub of the 300g -Use this product before painting your item it will not stick otherwise -Allow for 24 hours for thin things to almost fully cure 48 for a stiff -Your clay will dry over hours slightly so as soon as itโs out start working with it, it doesnโt dry super fast but youโll want to do touch ups within the hour -it drys from the outside in so if itโs a big item give it more time. Big things iโd give days really -If you are doing say spikes or something vertical make sure you have a structure beneath if it has to dry straight up and down (even small stuff) overnight it will fall a bit - great to create textures, let it dry down a few minutes to insure itโll stay textured

Good, But Read This Before Buying
I'd like to give this 3.5 stars. Pros: affordable compared to similar products; great for thick pieces (see photo); excellent for casual/kid crafter. Cons: needs conditioning before use or product will be stringy; thinner pieces tend to curl when air-drying (see photo); QR code needs specific app to work, which I would not download for security reasons. Overall, this is good for casual crafts. If you are making heavy armor pieces, invest in a higher-quality product.

Best foam for costumes!
I got this clay as a first time animal suit maker--I'm making a Wendigo outfit for Halloween--and I needed to make adjustments to the skull I got commissioned, as well as the claws I ordered. Neither have come in yet, so I decided to test the clay out by making the paw pads for the claw hands. Easy to work with, stayed moist and malleable even after being left alone for a little while as I ate, and continued to be workable throughout the entire process. I left it overnight to dry, and to my pleasant surprise, it not only DIDN'T shrink, but puffed up just a bit! Which is excellent for what I need, considering they're going to be buried in faux fur. But the best part? It didn't lose shape or details when it puffed up. Those all remained the same. And I wasn't even aiming for details myself, considering I'll be sanding these down to smooth them out. I'll also be painting them! Anyways, I'm buying more for future projects. This stuff is honestly great, and for the price, it's an absolute steal. If you're thinking about getting this, I recommend you absolutely do.
