Droste Dark Pastilles, 85 g

My grandparents used to bring me these back from Belgium so I was really pleased to see them appear on Amazon. A comparable price to a bar of good chocolate from the supermarket, I like the pastille shape both because they melt in your mouth and because it makes portion control (a tiny bit) easier. As a lactose intolerant it's also great to find good quality dark chocolate.I'll be buying these as a treat for myself going forwards and have just ordered some white/milk versions for my partner to try.

Opened these today , were disgusting . Obviously melted at some time so were just one solid lump . My son tried tasting them and said they tasted gritty and horrible , unlike some we’ed had before in a hamper

lovely cholate 5 star worth the money

I like something sweet after my main meal, these little dark chocolate disks are perfect. Love tge taste and they're not too sweet. 😋

I have purchased these chocolate candies numerous times. I eat them personally by the package full. They taste great. However, instead of raising the price, the package is only partly filled. I'd say it is only 5/6ths filled. This is wasteful b/c the package is partly empty. Shipping is usually by weight so you are not paying for the full weight of shipping and only receiving 5/6th of the candy. I think this kind of packaging should be against the law b/c it adds to the volume in trucks. It uses paper, aluminum foil and cardboard not needed for the protection of the candy. It unnecessarily uses resources. The taste is still great however.

Delicious chocolate, just too danged expensive for frequent purchase. I’ve purchased when price was lower. Imported so I suppose tariffs could effect price?
