I bought it as a birthday gift for a friend. She loves it. I like Bowie, but she is obsessed. There are great iconic pictures in there.

Simply the best pictorial record of David Bowie that I have owned. Large format printed on high quality paper, this book has some really stunning photographs of DB. I like the narrative that each photographer gives about what it was like working with him which just confirms what a decent and thoughtful person he was. I highly recommend it to any Bowie fan that hasn’t already got it in their collection- 10/10.

Incredible big book very well done. There are beautiful photos from many great photographers, not all of them, many pictures anyway. Some of these pictures are very famous others are never seen for me. Introduction is by George Underwood. By every artist there is an article with information and memories of the making of the works. Unmissable for fans and collectors.

Inutile parlare di un genio assoluto e irraggiungibile quale è stato Bowie. Sarebbe tutto già detto. Una pero', delle innumerevoli cose che affascinano enormente di lui, è stato il modo di porsi, di presentarsi, anche solo di muoversi sul palco. Look sempre in continuo cambiamento e sempre di un appeal straordinario. Bene, questo eccezionale volume testimonia in pieno che di personaggi del genere, ahimè, ne nasce uno ogni era....
