Panasonic Microwave Oven NN-SU66LS

Was a gift and from what I hear it’s working wonderfully

This was a great microwave, easy to keep clean. However, it died yesterday at no chance of fixing it. It just shut off and won’t turn back on even when plugged into different outlets. We bought it in August of 2022. We are now out a microwave at the start of 2026. So it is not long lasting with weekly cleaning as other microwaves might be.

It's a microwave. They are somewhat ubiquitous these days. Panasonic has built a well-deserved reputation for making excellent models. This is another one. I bought it because it was the physically smallest one they make currently that is still "full" 1100 wat power. And it does its job. It performs flawlessly. HOWEVER, IMHO, Panasonic made two serious flaws with this model -- neither are deal breakers, but both are annoying: 1) There is no light inside the unit -- not something I thought to check on as every microwave I've had for years included an interior light. 2) The interior is dark gray. It appears to be (is) an easy to clean surface (4 stars), but you need a flashlight to see if you've gotten all the splatter (1 star). Come on, Panasonic. What were you thinking? The interior of EVERY microwave should be WHITE. Decorate the exterior as fashion dictates but DON'T mess with the insides! (And give me back my light from models past.)

This was an updated version of my previous microwave that I purchased several years ago (which was excellent until the day it died). Works great! Same size as the other. 1100 watts (which I wanted). So easy to use. We're all happy in this household.

Very nice. Much better after I disabled the child safety option, which I didn’t need. Shipping was faster than estimated.

Unit is not a new product. "MFG Re-Certified" clearly printed on the packaging. The insert in the attached photo was inside the microwave, indicating that there is only a 90 day warranty. The plastic and rubber feet that the unit sits on are either defective or damaged, all were loose and the unit would not sit level, I had to cut a shim to put under one leg to stop the unit from rocking on the countertop every time the door was opened or closed or a key was pressed. Amazon refunded the price and told me to keep, donate, or dispose of it. It does work, so I will use it and monitor it closely for any safety issues.

Very pleased with this microwave. It was right size to fit our shelf while having 1150 power

Only 2.5 years old and rusting along the seams inside. Not venting properly and moisture builds up inside when cooking.
