Great jump starter
I've had this for a couple years. Worked well on my car and also on my riding lawn mower. Works so well I got my sister one and she loved it. She found it easy to use and it saved her a few times.

Life Saver – Easy, Reliable, and Worth Every Penny
I’ve used the NOCO Boost GB20 twice now, and both times it saved me from what could’ve been costly and time-consuming situations. Instead of calling a tow truck or waiting around for someone with jumper cables, I was back on the road in minutes. It's incredibly easy to use—even if you're not mechanically inclined—and it holds a charge for a surprisingly long time. I charged it once and it sat in my car for weeks before I even needed it, and it still worked perfectly. Recharging it is quick and hassle-free.This jump starter has already saved me money and time, and it’s given me peace of mind knowing I have a reliable backup in my glove box. If you drive a gas vehicle (up to 4.0L), I highly recommend this. It’s compact, powerful, and an absolute must-have!

I carry the GB40 in my V6 car and it starts it in 10-20 degree weather fine. I carry a GB70 in the V8 truck ...
GB20's, GB40's & GB70's. The 20 is rated for V6s and smaller and the 70 is meant for V8s. However when I first got a GB20 (400amp) I unhooked the battery on my dodge 4.7 V8 and it started it on the 2nd or 3rd crank. But realize it was 65 degrees and the truck starts without issues. I carry the GB20 in my V6 car and it starts it in 10-20 degree weather fine. I carry a GB70 in the V8 truck and it started it repeatedly this winter under 20 degrees when a radio short was draining the battery every day. I started it 4-5 times before charging again. I wouldn'ttest the 20 times they say in the manual. So a GB40 "can" start a small V8 in the right conditions. I considered it a testthat it would start a V6 well. But if you have a V8 or big inline 6 I would suggest getting a GB40 or GB70. I carry the GB70 because when starting in the cold overkill is nice and the GB40s were out of stock when I was ordering for the truck. As to using NOCOs or other lithium ion jump packs you have to use a little thinking. These are small lithium-ionbatteries having to give off short burst of high amperage output so they are presumably charging capacitors to give theburst output. NOCO says the Boost mode with all the anti-spark and polarity protection on works when the battery is over2-3 volts. It's cute technology if your afraid of jumper cables, but I think it is why people often say these don't work.I would say the protected boost mode quits detecting a starting circuit when the battery is only down a few volts. But ifyou just hold the exclamation point "!" button down for 3 seconds you hear it click, it turns off the safety circuits andyou have a live 12V battery/capacitor hooked to your car. I have started a V6 and 4.7 V8 repeatedly with a GB40 and GB70respectively. Now the other thing you have to realize is this is only good for short bursts. If your vehicle is havingother issues besides the battery and has to crank a lot, this is not going to work for you. They cannot sustaian highamperage output like a lead acid battery. If it doesn't start after a few seconds of cranking stop and let the batteries"soak" for a 30 seconds or more. Doing this I have started the V8 in the cold in no more than 3-4 tries. You would not be able to start a diesel tractor or something that has to crank a lot. That being said they are light, clean, hold charge for a long time, can be left in the car plugged into usb to be ready whenever you need them. They haveseparate in and out USB and 12 power ports so they cannot drain backward through the charging cord if left plugged into thecar and you battery drains. And of course can charge your phone. For the money and what they are I really like them. You just actually have to read the instructions on the override mode. If its not supplying voltage that is almost alwaysthe issue. The only thing is I think they should explain the override mode a little clearer and maybe label it as "step 2" on the booster if you don't get anything to happen without it.

Compact jump pack
Longevity remains to be seen as I've only had this about a week, but so far its been stellar. My FJR1300 was having some battery issues so I wanted something compact and durable I could keep in the panniers. Picked this up, and it's been working great. Charged quickly and easily, started up my bike multiple times without needing a recharge, and just feels well made. The flashlight has also been useful, and its nice to have the flashing if I ever get stranded roadside. The only two minor gripes I have that bump it to 4 is that the carry bag really needs a drawstring toggle to keep it closed, a few times the jump pack had slid out in transit, and secondly though the flashlight is very useful I wish it didnt look like headlights 100yds away, from 10yds away. Especially as a biker, I dont want to give the impression that I'm both a car and way further away than I really am if I'm using the light on the roadside. If neither of those bother you, then I'd recommend it. I also had reached out to NOCO about some of their other products and they were responsive and helpful, so it's good to know there's actual company backing behind the product, its not just repackaged dropshipped garbage.

This is a very dependable jump pack. It works on a 8-cylinder vehicle.

Easily jumped my 2010 Prius with the boost mode
Left the dome light on in my 2010 Prius, and the next morning the 12V (traditional battery, not the hybrid traction battery) was dead. The 12V battery is required to power startup electronics in most hybrids, before engaging the hybrid battery system, so it's possible to have a dead battery in a hybrid too.Ordered this, came the next morning. Took about 2 hours to fully charge - **a USB cord is included but an actual charger that plugs into the wall is NOT included - you can just use a cell phone charger brick though**.Clipped the red + cable to my battery jumper terminal, and the black negative - clamp to an "unpainted metal piece" somewhere in the engine. Clicked the power button on the unit - nothing happened - BUT, then I pressed and held down the ( ! ) boost button for 3 seconds, and that immediately got the power flowing to the electronics, which allowed me to start the hybrid system. Perfect!I'm glad I didn't spend more on the higher amp options. This one was just fine for the intended use of occasional jump charging my hybrid cards.Build quality on this this is great, it feels heavy and solid, but compact, with good grips and bumpers. The lights are easy to see, buttons easy to press, and it includes a flashlight that is pretty bright - perfect for scouting where to clip the ground wire. One downside is the very short cable lengths themselves are less than 10 inches long. This makes for compact storage but means you can't clip the ground wire to the recommended location (which for a Prius is several feet away on the other side of the engine compartment). No problem, but you have to find a bare metal bolt or piece to clip to, I had to reach down a few inches between components to grab onto one I saw to the left of the fuse box.I did not test the USB device charging, but I'm sure it would work fine as a power bank - it's probably best, however to only charge and use this for car jumping, so you don't end up with a dead unit at that critical moment when your battery is dead.Everything shown in the attached photo is what you get (minus packaging) - the unit itself which is slightly larger than a dollar bill, and 2 inches thick, a detachable (from the unit but not from each other) set of clip on cables, a standard micro USB charging cable, a nylon drawstring carrying bag, and two booklets.I'll be keeping this in the Prius long term now.

Best jumper ever
This thing is the BEST!!!, just connect red to red, back to black, hit the power on button and press/hold the yellow button till flashing then start that car!!, I charged it up fully first, already jumped my car twice and it's still fully charged for more jumps, I have 3 cars so sometimes the one way in the back of the driveway dies because I'm lazy to drive it often, but this jumper makes everything easier, I'm going to order more for my other cars for back up, no more asking strangers for a jump or waiting for family to come help, easy peasey 🙌

High quality product!

Worked as advertised, perfect device.
Worked perfectly. Highly advise to read the instructions (you need to scan the QR code on the booklet provided to see them). Battery unit itself is very sturdy and looks to be at least splash resistant to a degree. Used to jump start my car and worked immediately.I would call out that the jump leads are not as long as I anticipated. Not a problem for me as my vehicle has a small engine bay, but for those with larger vehicles where the battery is in a accessible location and the manufacturer position jump start points in the engine bay with positive and negative far from each other, the leads MAY not reach. A very niche scenario but can still happen.

Fantastic value
Great piece of gear, goes everywhere, fits under the seat of my motorbike and I have a bigger one in the 4wd, take them everywhere with me. I have been able to help so many people, more convenient than jumper cables.
