Celestial Seasonings Morning Thunder Black Tea

This is great tea. It has just enough caffeine, not too much. Plus it has roasted mat'e. I enjoy it as much as coffee, it's not a pale imitation.

The quality of the caffeine in this tea, which comes from black tea and smoked mate, seems higher and lasts longer than that of coffee. I use multiple tea bags 3 or 4 and drink diluted over ice with sweetener. This is Even better than energy drinks. I find the lowest price here on Amazon and only have it occasionally. I find myself eating less, having more energy, and staying awake for long periods of time when I need it. Haven't been able to find this in a store locally for about a year now. Best deal is on a box of 6. Comes well packed and in new condition. I was Not disappointed...

This has been my favorite tea since a chilly spring morning in 1979, in Silverton, Colorado. I let it steep extra long, for a deep, strong flavor.... Good stuff!

It has a good robust flavor and caffeine kick

If your looking for that morning pick me up this is a great alternative to coffee. I make a 16 oz mug every morning, Sometimes I combine it with a vanilla chia tea bag for added flavor.

...and so do our guests. A very good, strong flavor and nice energy from the maté that is matched with the black tea. If I substitute any other black tea, boyfriend will immediately ask if we have more Morning Thunder. He notices the flavor difference immediately. This is a great Celestial Seasonings tea. Very few stores carry it in the coal region so I have been purchasing it online here in bulk. If you are a black tea connoisseur, give this tea a try and let me know what you think. ;-)

This tea is addictive - I love the taste and the fact it is caffeinated means for me it can replace coffee. No bitterness or bad aftertaste, the only semi-negative I would mention is that it will stain your teeth.

I buy this tea, to keep me awake at work, when I get tired after lunch. I make it like Sun tea, so I can bring it to work as iced tea. Have been doing this for years! Often difficult to impossible to find, thrilled to find it here. The black tea has a somewhat unusual taste. But I buy it to keep me awake, and alert. It performs that task well. It’s good hot too, but that’s not why I buy it!
