What size drain do I need for this sink?

Any size will work. You do need to get one with threads all the way to the top. The sink is thin compared to most others.

How does it clamp down to the vanity surface?

The drain assembly should be sufficient enough to lock it down. I would suggest that it is not sat on or such.

Has anyone had any problems with the water not draining all the way down?

I haven't had any problems with my sink.

Nice looking sink! Exactly as expected. Nice finish. This is about a year of use for two people and no scratches or stuffs, durable finish. Push - click stopper works great. Used clear silicone sealant to hold in place. Does not have an overflow drain.
