What is dmso used for

DMSO is an effective pain killer, blocking nerve conduction ﬁbers that produce pain. It reduces inﬂammation and swelling by reducing inﬂammatory chemicals. It improves blood supply to an area of injury by dilating blood vessels and increasing delivery of oxygen and by reducing blood platelet stickiness. It stimulates healing, which is a key to its usefulness in any condition. It is among the most potent free radical scavengers known to man, if not the most potent one.

How does this compare with the dmso you can get in capsules? are there any disadvantages or advantages?

Well I apply with magnesium oil so capsules of no use. Need to be careful as it does get hot when mixed

How do/should you apply this to your skin?

Don't use it neat, it will burn. Mix equal quantities with a water based gel (not oil based) I use aloe Vera, mix well and solution will get warm, it's normal Then apply to unbroken skin let dry before covering

Does this have a garlic smell or cause garlic/sulphur smelling bad breath?

The smell is noticeable up close if you use a 10-15ml but not really like garlic. You wont stink up a bus like some people do the morning after a garlic meal. The smell is not as pungent and does't travel throughout / fill an airspace. I would not call it bad breath. I will be buying the same one again soon.
