is this made of plastic or cardboard?

The box is made of a strong cardboard that can be refilled with more plastic wrap when supply that comes with it is used up. I love it--it has a great cutter, it's easy to use and it looks nice on the counter. I've bought them for friends and family.

Would this cut the sticky press n wrap? Mom won't use anything but the sticky kind. thx!

Yes, BUT...I bought the "value size" wrap (47.7 yds. by 11.8 in.) and it is too fat to fit in the dispenser. The length is o.k. and it cuts just fine, but do get the regular size.

Can this also be used for foil and parchment paper if the rolls are the same size as the plastic wrap?

ChicWrap is now making a dedicated foil AND parchment paper box. I believe the parchment paper one will accept any type of parchment paper once you've finished the roll inside the box. Same goes for the foil. You can see them at their website: www.chicwrap.com
