M six year old granddaughter likes this. She had already shown an interest in origami. It's also a fun activity to do with a child, or something an older child can do by themself. So far it seems to have good paper, good instructions, and was a worthwhile purchase that should be good over time.

Color variety, Texture, Value ,Instructions were hard to understand for 5 year olds

This origami kit contains 120 pieces of lovely colored square pieces of paper. They are white on the back, which is helpful when folding. The paper is thin and high-quality, easy to fold. I loved the paper and will continue to use it. That being said, the book was very difficult to follow for a novice origami artist. I didn't feel like the designs were put in order from easy to hard, because while we could fold the first one, we couldn't fold the next several with ease. It was hard to follow the picture directions in the little book. I had to look up "easy origami for kids" online to get what I needed - step by step directions from beginning to end of the project.

addition to my small group rotations to practice fine motor. This doesn't come with a lot of paper for a classroom so be sure to get more if you are a teacher. I liked the book but wish it had some other options or easier ones to start with. The kids have enjoyed it so far.

I bought this as a gift for a friend and he loves it

The cover of this is great, however, it is completely misleading. Only 2 of the 6 examples from the book cover are found in the book AND the build instructions are horrible. So, you're basically paying extra for paper. Buy a different product for paper or find a better book, because this was a regretful purchase!

you get what you pay for. paper is not as its best but it does the job. my son has tons of fun.
