Franklin Sports Air Tech Foam Baseball Glove and Ball Set

When our little guy turned 3, he started showing an interest in baseball. My husband and I are both big baseball fans, and his older sister already has a glove, a bat and a tee. We were excited when he wanted to join in the family fun! However, because he's 3, I wasn't quite ready to shell out any serious money on supplies. Not only would he outgrow things quickly, but his interests change quite frequently. Because of this, we decided to go with this inexpensive Franklin glove. It ended up being such a great deal and such a great purchase! This set comes with a glove and a soft baseball sized ball. It's a little softer than a standard tee ball ball. It's great for a kiddo who's just learning to throw and play catch. Even if they did get a little bonk, the softness makes it much more tolerable than a normal baseball. Another selling point for us personally was the red, white and blue. Those happen to be my son's 3 fav colors (so patriotic!). The colors are true to the picture. And as a bonus, it was super easy to find his glove in a pile of gloves at tee ball practice!! I'd highly recommend this glove for a beginning ball player. It's a perfect size for his 3 year old body, and I think he'll get a couple of years of use out of it. It's already soft and 'broken in'. The ball is a complete bonus. If you're considering this, I recommend the purchase!

My son is turning 2 in August and being an athlete myself, I really wanted to get him into sports early. He loves putting this thing on and throwing the ball. The ball is a foam that I just roll to his glove or toss as someone helps him catch it. Great for starters and it's more advanced than whiffle balls and the gloves with those. This is as small and close to the real deal as you'll find!

We loved this! It has held up to lots of use. This was bought for a 2 year old and was a little too big for his hand. The velcro strap is able to be made small enough so it does not fall off.

This glove fits like a real leather glove but is soft enough that my 3 year old can 'squeeze' to catch and field. The ball is perfect, not heavy and hard like a real ball but heavy enough to be thrown well. hit off a tee too better than the plastic balls Great starter set for toddlers. my lil dude LOVES it

This glove is nice. It's way better than most of the plastic garbage gloves that are sold for youths. The ball that comes with it is very heavy though, a little too heavy for my 3 year old, but I also bought the foam baseballs from Amazon that are lighter for him. The glove can bend easy, he can open and close it somewhat with his hand even though it is a little too big for him. We left it out in the rain for a day and it dried out nicely. It's definitely worth the money and will outlast any of those cartoony plastic gloves.

Son started T-ball and this glove is perfect for a beginner. Durable, unique colors and great price point.

Trying to teach my child to catch with this ball isn't going to happen. We'll sub something softer as this one is almost as hard as a softball.

Bought for a great grandson in an effort for him to enjoy outside sports. He was excited, for about 5 minutes then wanted to go inside with air conditioning and an iPad. No criticism of the ball and glove, they are perfect for ages 5-6.

My son loves his ball and mitt. He loves throwing it and trying to catch it. He's only 20 months old so it was hard to find one that would fit his little hand. He was obsessed with an older child's at daycare so I wanted to get him one of his own and is working out great. Fun colours, good sizing, soft ball.
