TV Speaker- Small soundbar with Bluetooth connectivity

I bought the Bose TV Speaker to boost my TV’s audio, and the difference is incredible. Every crisp detail comes through with total clarity—dialogue, background sounds, even the quieter moments that my TV’s built‑in speakers used to completely miss. It’s a night‑and‑day improvement. Despite its compact size, this speaker delivers rich, full sound that easily fills the room. It absolutely obliterates the TV’s own speakers. Voices are clearer, music sounds warmer, and action scenes finally have the depth and punch they deserve. Setup took only a couple of minutes, and the performance has been flawless ever since. If you want a simple, effective way to transform your TV audio without a complicated sound system, this Bose speaker is outstanding. Highly recommended.

We sat down to enjoy our new 4K TV, and immediately found that we loved the picture, but also found, to our dismay, that the sound was somewhat tinny and, worst of all, the spoken dialogue was very hard to hear, especially if the actors did not stand up straight and speak like an Englishman! It seems to be the case, that a really good budget 4K TV provides an excellent picture, but will cut corners somewhere, and that is usually the sound, probably on the assumption many can address that by investing in additional speakers of some sort. OK, in our case, the poor sound was not helped by the fact someone (who shall remain nameless) is also going a bit deaf, especially in the base and mid tone areas. Obviously, this meant we had to break open the piggy bank, again, and invest in an Amp and some additional speakers or, perhaps, just a Soundbar. The Amp and Speakers option can be the optimum solution but, that is very expensive, especially if needing the HDMI throughput to be 4K. Soundbars seemed like a good idea, until you start looking, and find they come in all different prices, with often confusing reviews. As luck would have it, I already had a very nice set of BOSE Headphones, and the sound quality there is first rate. So, I decided that BOSE could be a good option to consider first. After a lot of pondering, I kept coming back to the BOSE TV Speaker (Soundbar), because the reviews seemed to be consistent, and the price at around £170 was not too painful. One click, and it was ordered, and then here the following day. Easy to set up via an HDMI Cable connected to the eARC port on the TV, after which the BOSE TV Speaker instantly improved the sound, both in terms of base and dialogue. Even better, it also features a dialogue enhancement option. When that is active, one of the two little LED on the top goes from White to Green. That feature dramatically improves dialogue still further, so much so, that we just leave that on full time. Are we pleased? Yes. Would we recommend this? Yes, without hesitation. The BOSE TV Speaker is an excellent choice that balances price and audio quality very well indeed. You can improve on this, but the cost will rapidly escalate to get anything better.

I wanted something a certain size to fit in my tv unit and this fitted perfectly. Positives- Neat looking Easy to set up Great sound- makes you realise how bad tv speakers are and what you’ve been missing! Nice small remote Good bass for the size Good value for money Syncs to your phone to play music etc Negatives- Only a light display to show you’re clicking buttons etc. no lcd display to show volume number or whether the speaker is muted or not. I can sync the speaker to my sky remote but it’s back to front. I.e volume up on the sky remote, turns the volume down on the speaker! Even though there’s a few negatives I would still recommend this speaker. I’ve had it for about a year now and no issues.

I’ve had a soundbar in my living room for years , as they are an excellent way to improve your sound from in-built TV speakers. I’ve had a separate gaming setup in a smaller room for a while and been using the internal TV speakers. I have been looking at improving the sound for a while and this TV speaker was one that looked ideal. I saw it come up in the sale so went for it. It came quickly , sensibly packaged. Setup was very straight forward , I’ve connected it to my TV HDMI Arc socket using a fast hdmi cable. My TV picked this up and used it automatically. I’ve set it to turn on automatically. Instructions are simple for volume , base and with an option to make dialogue clearer. Sound is great , very clear and adding real depth , tone and crispness compared to the TV speakers. I’m really pleased with these. A great deal and a big boost to my gaming.

So far so gooood! Sound is brilliant, small compact ideal for a caravan. Remote control and Bluetooth. For the money, what do you expect from BOSE?!!!!!

This is not a sound bar but it is a brilliant tv speaker. Our tv is absolutely fine but some of the newer films and tv programs just have dreadful sound quality. The crunch came when I tried to watch Conclave and I couldn't hear anything that Stanley Tucci said at all and it was hit and miss with Ralph Fienes. Normally, they speak very clearly so o knew it was the way the filmed had been made. So I found this Bose tv speaker and it has transformed watching programs and they are now enjoyable after being awful. Just one problem with modern film makers, please can you turn the lights on so we can actually see what is going on? I get that realism it's important, but it makes no sense to me to spend millions on a film that no one can see nor hear. Anyway, this neat little speaker is highly recommended and the set up was straight forward too.

Leider war in der Lieferung kein Netzkabel für deutsche Stromnetze enthalten. Eine Bedienungsanleitung in deutscher Sprache wäre auch net gewesen.

The sound quality is exceptional. This is an entry level soundbar so the bass is not as impressive as the other ranges. But still value for money for general home use

A great small size sound bar that’s a step up from your tv speakers. It’s pricey but if you are looking at good sound at a small footprint this is it. Clarity and mids are the standard Bose level of flat sound. Soundstage is not wide since it’s not the 300 500 or 700 sound bar since it has only 3 driver speakers. If you want those bass shakes this is not your sound bar, if you want that you need to spend more. I knew what I was getting and I wanted something that was a notch above the tv sound and it delivered well! Bluetooth is good and I use an AUX since my tv dosnt support hdmi arc (hdmi audio external) Downside: there is no hdmi pass through. If your looking a wide sound go for the sound bar 300/500 but again that dosnt have hdmi pass through and only optical and hdmi arc support. The 700 is a bit expensive but worth it as a all in one solution and extensions for future subs or rear satellites.
