When anyone orders an adapter they have a need or a special purpose in mind. That was the case for my ordering this set of six well made adapters. My need was to adapt an LED light bulb with a E--12 Candelabra base to the Edison Standard E-26. These worked just very well. They are uniformly made and each exhibits good assembly characteristics. I particularly like the fact that each adapter is clearly marked in regard to what size base it is adapting. There is also the electrical properties clearly marked. Maximum power rating is 75 Watts, voltage 110 to 120 Volts. So with that information I could judge that the single filament wire terminating in a grounding halo is of adequate size to handle the current. At the higher voltage the current will of course be less. So I chose to calculate the total current flow at 110 Volts in order to discover the maximum current demand. Using Ohms law it is easy to calculate the current which would be rounded off right at .682 or just a little over half an ampere. So the ground wire is sufficiently large to handle at least twice that amount of current. I am not considering resistance in this instance since it would be negligible. That is about all I can tell you about this set of six adapters except for this important order advisory. When you order be sure to know what you need. The E-11 size base is like the small old fashioned night light incandescent base, or old style Lights for the tree. The difference between that size and this E-12 base is very close, but if you have the E-11 bulb it will let you know right away that close is not close enough. Your bulb will thread loosely into these E-12 adapter socket. It should not be used. So be sure to order correctly. This is a very good value. It does the job for me and I have confidence that it is well made and safe to use. I am giving this package set of six adapters a full Five Star rating.

They fit perfect and have been using them for a long time and they work well

A good value so inexpensive. But accordingly, they are cheaply made so handle them gently and don't over tighten it or over tighten the bulbs in it.

Adapters work well. Easy to use. I turned 4 ugly, 10W fluorescent bathroom vanity bulbs (w/ poor color tone) into decorative, 3.3W bulbs (w/ more natural color tone). 1 of the 4 adapters had the internal plastic components slightly misaligned - making it a minor challenge to get the bulb threaded. But not a big problem and I feel it’s unlikely to cause any long term, downstream problems. Other than that, they seem perfect. I hope they last forever - time will tell.
