What would be the ATO max focal length that you would use this guide scope with?

I don’t know what “ATO” is, but I like to have my guide scope about half of the focal length and half of the objective size of my main scope. This “rule” has worked pretty good for me. So, this guide scope is 120mm focal length, which means you’ll be good at least up to 250 mm,( which is the size scope I use this guide scope with), and probably a little bigger. You also have to take into consideration your pixel scale, which is another lengthy subject all together.

I need to know the specification for the objective lens to the focal plane (true backfocus). The 45mm cited is is focus travel, not backfocus.

Why is the video showing an ota on a 20 dslr tripod?!?
