Exceptional Value and Performance
I recently purchased the eufy Security Indoor Cam C120, and it has exceeded my expectations. This compact camera offers impressive 2K video quality, ensuring clear and detailed footage both day and night. The night vision is particularly noteworthy, providing crisp black-and-white images even in low-light conditions. Setting up the camera was straightforward. The integration with the eufy Security app was seamless, allowing me to connect the camera to my Wi-Fi network without any issues an integrate into my Apple HomeKit. Overall, the eufy Security Indoor Cam C120 delivers exceptional performance at an affordable price point. It's a reliable choice for anyone seeking a high-quality indoor security camera.

High quality video with no subscription
I picked up the Eufy Security Indoor Cam C120 mainly to keep an eye on our puppy when we’re out of the house, and it’s honestly been better than expected. Writing this review after 9 months of use. Setup was quick, and the app is one of the biggest highlights. It’s clean, responsive, and gives you a ton of control without feeling overwhelming. I already had other Eufy cameras, and this one integrated seamlessly—everything shows up in one place and works the same way, which I really appreciate. What I like most is how customizable it is. You can really fine-tune notifications and detection settings. We have it set to alert and record only when it detects our pet (not people), which cuts down on a ton of unnecessary notifications. The motion and noise sensing have both been reliable so far, and I haven’t had issues with false alerts. Video quality is solid for an indoor cam, and pairing it with the Eufy HomeBase for recording is a big plus—no subscription fees, which is becoming rare these days. Honestly, I don’t really have any complaints. For the price, the features you get and the flexibility in setup make it an easy recommendation, especially if you’re already in the Eufy ecosystem.

Great Price, Good Picture, Spotty Connectivity
Anker puts out great products at excellent prices. This camera is no different, but it does have its flaws. For around $40, you get a camera that is easy to set-up and configure that gives you an excellent picture and set of features along with HomeKit integration which is critical if you are part of Apple's ecosystem. Packaging is professional looking, easy to read and the camera is packaged safely to prevent it from being damaged in transit. In the box you will find the camera, cable and USB power adaptor as well as mounting screws and a plate to mount to any flat surface. The Eufy Security app is a mixed bag. It does what it needs to do and even if you're a HomeKit user, you will need this app for the initial set-up of the camera. The English grammar through some of Anker's apps is questionable and this is no different but you should be able to understand the walk through and set-up. Once the camera is connected, you can integrate with Apple, Google or Amazon if you wish right from the app. No issues here. You can mount these cameras most anywhere with the included hardware, but you might find yourself needing an extension cord if you're mounting on the ceiling or anywhere that's not close to an outlet. Another 3 feet of cable would be helpful. Picture quality is awesome for a camera in this price range. Nice and sharp in both well-lit and nigh-vision conditions. If you want to store video, you'll need either a microSD card, a subscription to Eufy's storage plan or HomeKit Secure Video. Having the option definitely adds value so you're not locked into only one single storage solution. Choose what works best for you. The biggest complaint here is that both of the cameras I have tend to lose connectivity every couple days for a few minutes. They always reconnect without intervention but it is annoying and hopefully they don't disconnect when they're needed most. All in all, a great value camera that does what it needs to do. Definitely worth picking at least one up as it's hard to go wrong at this price point.

Lasted 6.5 months
Update: The company reached out shortly after posting my review. They collected some info about the defunct camera and offered a credit for it since it was already past the return window. Based on good customer service I gave them another chance and purchased a new camera of the same model. It has been working flawless and does what it’s supposed to. Happy with the way the camera and app works. Really enjoy the instant notifications. Changing my review from 1 star to 5 stars! Bought brand new in late April 2023 and it has already died. The LED ring on the device is lit up purple (static). Nothing works, app can't connect, can't do any sort of reset. Upset with this brand. In the few months I had it I had to factory reset the device a couple of times because out of nowhere it would fail to connect to the app. Or it wouldn't record motion events. Never had an issue with other brands.

DO NOT PURCHASE: Not the best security system with various flaws
Think about this: There are a lot of one star reviews for a reason. . . UPDATE (10/04/2022): Customer service response to the current issues: "Unfortunately, if your order has expired its 12-month warranty, and if the device is defective, we are sorry that we are not able to arrange a replacement for you according to our warranty policy. However, we register all defects and evaluate them statistically. These statistics enable us to identify any increased defect rates or concentrated product problems, so thank you very much for letting us know about your product." Be warned, small issues from the start with the entire eufy system only to have it breakdown after 2 years. And nothing can be done about it with customer service. DO NOT BUY THIS SYSTEM! UPDATE (09/29/2022): This eufy system has gone from bad to worse. Battery low, so cam 2c charged. Last charge hardly lasted long at all. Now camera, after fully charged, unable to play live video. Deleted device. Added device. Restarted homebase. Still no work! Restarted wifi. Deleted device. Added device. Restarted homebase. Still no work! Deleted device. Now UNABLE TO ADD DEVICE! After multiple tries Still unable to add device. Restarted everything. STILL UNABLE TO ADD DEVICE! This has gone from bad to worse. There is always some issue that happens with this eufy system. It's horrible and frustrating. So damn disappointed with eufy. DO NOT BUY ANY OF THEIR PRODUCTS! UPDATE (12/16/2020): Have had the system for approximately three months. Also purchased indoor cameras a few weeks after first purchase. Problems still occurring but past time period to initiate refund. Contacted Eufy customer support on numerous occasions who suggested different settings and system upgrades but errors still occurring even with various adjustment settings. Customer support responds with the same excuse that their tech team is working on the issues. Thought that it could possibly be the 2C cameras that were defective and, in one email, offered to send replacements. Then, in another reply, offered to send a Pan/Tilt indoor camera as a replacement. It was a nice offer, but the issues are with the outdoor 2C cameras and not with the indoor cameras at all. In one reply, customer support offered a $25 refund for the unsolved issues. $25?! That was insulting. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS SYSTEM! I cannot stress that enough. Poor system. Multiple false alarm issues. Dysfunctional Zone feature. Inconsistent notifications (sometimes it will capture a person, sometimes it won't). Faulty AI. Horrible customer support. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS SYSTEM! ‐-------------------------------------- THE GOOD: Camera has decent image quality. Set up fairly simple. Battery powered 2C camera will last a few months as long as AI does not filter out too many events. Will record and store events locally (no subscription fees). THE BAD: AI will detect numerous false detections (ex: shadows detected as human faces). No matter how you adjust the sensitivity or activity zones the system will give frequent false alarms of shadows presenting as a human. Very distracting. Also, how would you pay attention to a REAL alert when you are constantly bombarded with false alarms. The eufy system cries wolf a lot. So much, that you become reluctant to have the siren on at all. Activities Zones that are set up are useless. Basically, you get a set of colored rectangles on your app while eufy still detects outside of those zones (which also drains the battery). And the zones that are set up are inconsistent when detecting movement (same problem as other reviews). Sometimes you will get a notification and sometimes you won't. Adjusting the sensitivity level higher does not help with the inconsistent notifications. It does, however, help with catching more activity outside the established zone. Indoor cams require a micro SD card to record events. Otherwise it is just a camera. Would be better if the indoor cam could link up with the Homebase2 and store recordings there. Would also be better if the Homebase2 had a micro SD storage slot instead. Geofencing does not work at all for multiple users. Even with one person in the zone while one is out of the zone eufy will change the security system to "Away". Geofencing will also place a family member "out of the zone" even if that person hasn't left the zone all day. Geofencing is also inconsistent across different units. One indoor camera will report a different status than the home system (Homebase2). Have reported issue to eufy support. They have responded fairly quickly, however the system updates that were provided did not solve the problem. After reading the eufy forums, the Geofencing issue has been a problem for a long time and it has not been resolved. After weighing the GOOD vs the BAD, the eufy system does not perform well as a home security system and I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SYSTEM. It will not provide adequate security protection.

Awesome HomeKit Camera!
NOTE: I have been using WyzeCams for almost 2 years now, so my review will be heavily revolving around that comparison. I was looking to upgrade due to the fact that Wyze - against numerous customer requests - has zero intentions of making their cameras compatible with Apple HomeKit. Also, I was over dealing with all the little quirks that came with using WyzeCams (random disconnections, tiny bugs with every firmware update etc.), I don’t need special face detection or pet detection features - for my usage all really I need is streaming video and motion notifications. After looking into what my options were I decided to try the Eufy 2k Indoor Camera since it is HomeKit compatible. The 2K camera is made of plastic, but it has a better finish to it compared to other cameras, with a simple, understated but nice looking modern design. Installing the 2k camera is like most others; inside the package you get the camera, a micro USB cables and a standard USB AC power supply. Installation hardware is included, and I like how the camera features a detachable base plate that makes positioning the camera much easier if it’s being wall-mounted. After installing the camera, I downloaded the Eufy security app from the App Store and fired it up. First of all, pairing the 2k camera within the Eufy app literally took seconds to do, and I was up and running in no time. Second (and more importantly) I could see that the Eufy's 2k video quality was much, much clearer than WyzeCams lower-quality HD video. The "live view" video streaming on the 2k was crisp, smooth and never choppy (something that anyone who has used Wyzecams will tell you does happen regularly). Response was quick as well, whenever I went into the camera view it connected with no problem. I have the 2k camera in the exact same location as a WyzeCam that would on occasion take 5-10 seconds to connect to. Speaking of the Eufy app, it has a similar layout when compared to the Wyze app so learning my way around didn't take much time to get used to. I did notice though that when compared to the Wyze app interface, the Eufy app felt much more polished and complete. The best features though for me so far are related to Apple's HomeKit and the Home app. Before, I had to open the Home app to check the status or control any of my smart home products (lights, fans, etc.) and then open the Wyze app separately to check all the Wyze cameras. Because the Eufy 2k Indoor camera is HomeKit compatible, I could now see the camera's live feed directly from the Home app! Also, because the Eufy 2k works with Apple's HomeKit Secure Video, I know all of my video footage is more secure and stored privately. Honestly, I didn't realize how much of an issue having to open multiple apps was until I had the means to view and control everything within one central app on my phone, and HomeKit compatibility makes this possible. So if you're looking for a HomeKit compatible camera that has excellent features, excellent video quality, and effortless setup, the Eufy 2k indoor camera is an awesome choice. Granted, I am still not through trying out all the other features this camera has (person or pet detection, etc.) but as of this writing, I am already a happy customer. I actually went and ordered a second Eufy 2k Indoor camera to replace my other WyzeCam V2, and I'm already planning on buying their 2K Indoor Cam Pan & Tilt cameras to possibly replace my WyzeCam Pans. As much as I liked the low cost and decent features that Wyze cameras gave me, upgrading to the Eufy 2k cameras was an eye-opening experience and a great choice after all. They are only marginally more expensive than Wyzecams but well worth the price!

INCREDIBLE (For the price) - No Subscription!!!
INCREDIBLE - For the price because - NO MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION FOR STORAGE! INCREDIBLE - if you have never bought a remote camera. Learn on this one before you buy a more expensive one. There is so much to learn in the app as far as setting sensitivity, storage, playback, view field... there are a ton of options to customize the experience. The default is fine too - but if you're getting a million alerts every time a car drives past, or a tree branch moves in the wind - you will want to use settings to ignore those detections and set your detection to just the door or porch. Simple camera - doesn't remotely rotate - has night vision and plugs into USB (included) Sure, you need to sign into the app, it's a little clunky, there's a learning curve, playback doesn't always seem to work, events don't always record, I've had one just stop working over time. HOWEVER - I've tried other more expensive brands and they are about the same. I've bought a different brand in-store from Best Buy to watch the dogs - DISASTER. WORSE - Almost every other brand tricks you into needing a Monthly Subscription or Google Storage - someplace to store the footage for playback. This Eufy Camera stores/retrieves the information directly onto/from the SD card (sold seperately - another pain) - But again - the cost savings of not paying $ monthly subscription is obvious and makes this camera my Go-To camera for keeping an eye on my basement and attic for any intruders or critters. Bought them for my mom for her house. I even used it once to direct a friend to find a folder in a box in my attic by directing him through the live camera/microphone "Go left... it may be under that blue bag... try that yellow container - there it is!" The camera in my basement at my mountain cabin for 3 years suffers extreme temperatures... keeps on ticking! It's awesome. Live view anytime and trigger alerts when it detects something moving.

Way above my expectations
I recently purchased the Eufy Security Solo IndoorCam C24, 2K Security Indoor Camera and I am blown away by its performance. This camera has exceeded all of my expectations and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The video quality is absolutely phenomenal, providing crisp and clear footage that is perfect for monitoring any room in my home. The camera's 2K resolution and advanced HDR technology ensure that every detail is captured, even in low-light conditions. The setup process was incredibly simple and the accompanying app made it a breeze to get everything up and running in no time. The camera's 360-degree rotation and ability to be mounted on the wall or placed on a shelf provide ultimate flexibility in placement options. What really sets the Eufy Security Solo IndoorCam C24 apart, however, is its advanced features. The camera's motion detection is top-notch, providing instant alerts whenever there is any activity in the room. The two-way audio feature also allows me to communicate with whoever is in the room, which is a great way to keep in touch with family members when I'm not home. Overall, I highly recommend the Eufy Security Solo IndoorCam C24 to anyone in need of a high-quality indoor camera. It is truly a five-star product that delivers exceptional performance and features that are unmatched in the market.
