Much Better Than I Expected!
This little device is much better than I expected. The effects are far better than the old outdated echo pedal on my board. I only needed an additional echo pedal. Better than the one on my pedal board. So I can travel light. This one takes up less space and has more variations than I could count. Everything you want or need in an echo effects/delay pedal and much more. As soon as I stepped on it I was blown away!!! This was money well spent! I can hardly wait until the next gig!

Two hit, two misses.
The delay pedal works pretty good. I liked the fact it had several different modes / options, the sounds are pretty decent and it bypasses well. The only complaint I have is that it does generates a little internal heat if left plugged in, even when off. That being said I'm keeping this one. I'll rate it four stars. The other two Donner pedals I purchased at the same time I returned. The noise gate pedal did gate quietly and smoothly but it increased the volume whenever it was on. I found that unacceptable. The chorus pedal just lacked. It was too subtle regardless of settings. I do have a Donner octave pedal that has worked very well so it seems to be a hit and miss thing.

Small package, big value
The Donner Square Echo Delay pedal exceeded my expectations for a delay at this price point. With 7 modes in such a small form factor and at a low price, this pedal is packed with a great value. The tape, analog, and mod delay modes really stood out to me. The analog mode has a great warm and dark tone to it. The tape mode has a nice slight warble, giving good depth and character without sounding digital. The mod mode has a subtle chorus - most ‘mod’ delays tend to be too much modulation for me, but I feel like this one is just right. After sitting with the pedal for just a few minutes, I was able to find some really unique settings that I wasn’t expecting to get from this pedal. My favorite setting outside of the typical delay pedal function is using the reverse mode with the time all the way down, feedback up high, then changing the mix based on application (see 3:14 of my demo video). This allows for a very cool tremolo/reverb. Overall, this pedal really surprised me in the best way. I wasn’t expecting much from it, but it may have just earned a spot on my pedal board next to my much more expensive full-featured tap-tempo delay, due to the versatility of the 7 different modes. Pros: Build quality Value Versatility of 7 modes Fun spaceship noises 🚀 Cons: No tap tempo (not expected at this price range) Switch can be tough to press

Fantastic little delay pedal, most versatile for its size. Would buy again if stolen.
Fantastic little delay pedal, most versatile for its size, would buy it again if stolen or damaged. Signal integrity is great as as it's digital pedal. It allows you to access several types of delays in a very small package, all very usable. The Echo Square has heft, is well built with good jacks and sturdy knobs. The switch feels solid with a nice audible click. The unit doesn't create a "pop" upon switching it on/off unlike my Mooer Yellow Comp and Caline Pure Sky OD which do pop. Of course being so small there's no room for battery and it actually draws 130ma from a DC power supply so daisy chaning it with other pedals is not recommended. Dedicated a power tap on your power brick to it. A solid performer and a great addition to a pedalboard without sacrificing real estate.

Small size with a big sound. Would recommend!
I bought this for myself and appreciate the small size and value for what it is. Highly recommended!

Not bad , just ok .
Not great , not bad , just ok . This pedal is small and compact and seems quite rugged and durable . The sound quality is just ok . Most modes sound kind of artificial . It's ok for messing around with , but not good for performances . There is no power supply . I had a 9 volt 200 mA ac adapter that I changed to a tip negative . This works good although a higher mA was recommended . I was expecting better sound quality . Overall , this is a fun little pedal for home use . I would suggest spending a little more money for a higher quality pedal .

I am addicted to these Donner pedals
As a 66-year-old beginner guitarist (and a retired electrical engineer) I spend a lot of my "practice" time playing around with the signal-chain from the electric guitar to the amplifier. I did purchase one expensive larger size pedal but found these mini Donner pedals that produce great sounds for 1/3 the price. My playing isn't really good anyway at this point, so I am not trying to achieve studio quality sound but this pedal along with others adds a palate of cool sounds that I can coax out of my guitar. Also, when daisy chained with my other 4 pedals, and you are in bypass mode, it sounds like it should, with the guitar signal going straight to the amplifier.

Yet another wonderful little effect pedal from Donner! This one is a multi delay and has all the standard delays you'd want - digital, analog, tape, for example - plus a few extra special effects delays like reverse and simulated low bit rate. The quality of the delays is overall pretty good some are better than others but none of them are terrible. Especially good is the analog delay and the tape delay settings. As usual, the tiny knobs are fiddly, but that's to be expected on these mini pedals. For the price and amount of very usable sounds I give this pedal a thumbs up and recommend it for anyone looking for a good, versatile delay pedal for a low price.

This is the 3rd Donner pedal I own, the other two being the blues drive and chorus. I needed a delay, was looking to replace my years old BOSS that died, with another BOSS DD8 which right now is $259 + tax.....roughly $294!!! For a run-of-the-mill BOSS delay...no thanks. Bought this for a fraction, and wow. You can't TELL me you'd hear a difference. I've been playing guitar for over 40 years. There is no 'tonal' difference between this and the BOSS. In fact, wouldn't surprise me one bit if they weren't made in the same factory. Anyway, 7 modes, easy to set, forget, and play. DONE. And not only does it leave room on your board for more pedals, leaves room in your wallet for more gear money. Don't be one of those players that "needs" the brand name. These are solid little units. Tons of demos out there, check them out.

I have these on my board. They remain warm to the touch, even when not in use. I've sent a message to donner about it, but have had no reply. Although they sound amazing, i am getting rid of them. It is not normal for them to stay warm to the touch, and apparently i am not the only one experiencing this. Fire hazard.
