Ive been using this since May 2021, I dont know how to confirm if the 3 USB ports are actually 3.0 transfer speeds, because its not "blue" when i have another one thats more expensive that have blue ports. BUT they have not given me any issues so its not a complaint, just an observation. The Ethernet port comes in clutch, As of writing this review ive reached 567Mbps down testing, while I pay for 1200 speeds, my laptop is from 2017... so my hardware is old but with this its not slow!

Having previously purchased a Uni Type C Hub I was disappointed with its lack of ethernet compatibly, thus leading to the purchase of this product. The build quality of both Uni products that I have are great, a nice metal exterior along with a tangle free braided usb c cable. This quality craftsmanship is what really made me come back to Uni products in the future due to the prevalence of cheap and finicky usb c hubs and adapters that flood the market. The biggest thing to keep in mind is that this is just an adapter, the lack of type c passthrough really makes it a no go for devices with only one port for information and charging. Having used with with my iPad Pro I found it works well but leaves me unable to charge the device while connected, often this has proved an issue as I have been transferring large files over the network when the battery gets low. If your main use will be with a laptop this is an excellent choice. The only immediate cons that are worth noting is: 1. The cable is directly wired into the adapter, this means that if the cable gets damaged the whole adapter will have to be replaced. 2. The color is close to space-gray but not exact. The biggest pros I have found using this for about a week are: 1. The speed is fantastic. This adapter proved to be faster that multiple other ones I had lying around. 2. Quality is great, much better than its plasticky alternatives. 3. Works seamlessly. After testing on a MacBook, iPad, and XPS 15 there were no issues, simply plug and play. Overall this adapter proves its worth against the competition and shows just how important good craftsmanship has on a product's look, design, and feel.

I just upgraded to a slightly used M1 MBP and was SO frustrated at the lack of ports, especially the Ethernet port, since I upload and download lots of large files, and wired is still just way faster than wifi. At first, I plugged this into a port on an extender, and it didn't seem to like that. But, once plugged directly into the laptop itself, it worked perfectly, and my large apps installed very quickly for my setup on the new machine. I also very much like that it has the 3x 3.0 USB-A ports, as I have LOTS of legacy hardware and I'll be using this a lot, just for my Wacom tablet and attaching drives. I must say that I haven't yet tested it's stability with added drives, so I'll amend this review if it turns out to be a problem. It seems to run nice and cool, as well. So far, a great value.

Overall, great product. I noticed no drop in my internet speeds as compared to just plugging an Ethernet cable into my laptop and the hub easily handles usb storage and other devices without problem. For me, it was zero setup, just plug it in and I am good to go. The reason I have dropped this review down to 4 stars is due to the excess heat produced by the hub. For a small device, it kicks out a lot of heat and can get to the point that it is uncomfortable to touch. Not sure if this is normal for this product or if my model is defective. But, if this is normal, make sure to watch where you set the hub down.

I bought this back in 2021, I recently purchased a M5 MacBook Pro. I have gigabit speed and this works great. I highly recommend this Ethernet Adapter!

After a long period between laptops, I realized that Laptops now don't have LAN plugs on the side any longer. I purchased this model adapter to make up for the lack of a LAN port, plus I do like this with the added USB-A ports since laptops now also have fewer USB-A ports. With Windows 10 and greater, this Adapter just works as soon as you plug it in to the USB-C port.

A great little gadget. Perfect because no new computers have enough USB ports or internet connection. Quality was excellent. Easy to use on different computers, and ipad. You need one.

Great adaptor. It was just what I needed. Got a new laptop, but I needed more ports. This is a threat size, and allows me to add the attachments I need. Works well.

This USB HUB with integrated network adapter was for my corporate laptop running Windows 11. We have no admin rights and the use of flashdrives is prohibited on our computers. This uni USB C to Ethernet Adapter, Slim USB C Hub didn't need driver installation NOR have a builtin storage for the drivers. So it was recognized as IS and ready to use on my PC. I'm happy! I just wish it had a longer cable. Which is no biggie, I'll buy an extension.
