Matching up Ford UG (white platinum tricoat)
So I did a little digging around the internet before I pulled the trigger on painting, vinyl wrapping or Line-X to dechrome my 2012 F350 with paint code UG(White Platinum Tricoat). I got some local quotes to dechrome my truck(front and rear bumper, grill, window vent shades),wrapping was $900, line-x was $525 and paint was a couple thousand. So I ordered the sample just to see how close vinyl could get and I felt it was a little more blueish greenish up close, but almost not even noticable over 20 feet away. So conpaired to paint which would likely not match perfect either, this was close enough! I have ZERO experience with automotive vinyl, but I've put thick aftermarket decals on many atvs and dirt bikes, so I knew my way around a heat gun. My very first attempt was the grill because it would he hard enough to get a real feel for the difficulty level. After figuring out how to handle vinyl, I feel it went VERY well and will have much more confidence doing the rest of my truck for sure . I did cheat and order the amazon vinyl wrapping kit for $20. Glad I did. FYI, dont use fabric gloves like they say to online, too much lint comes off in my opinion. I chose to use my bare hands after I realized the gloves were hindering more than helping. Product is A-friggin-mazing! It's hard to eff this stuff up. It's so crazy how if you wrinkle it up beyond hope and stretch it like your pushing out quintuplets, when you put the heat gun on, its 18 again! I'm ordering more now and will post pics when done.

Great Product
It is very easy to use, sticks well, and slightly elastic to enable elimination of trapped air bubbles and creases. The color match very well with my vehicle's original color. This is a cost- and time-saving, and a very good alternative to the otherwise expensive replacement and repainting of the scratched up car skirts and bumpers!

Nothing matches factory paint perfectly.
I only ordered a sample size (3x5). Iโve not installed it but I was looking for a color match to a 2012 Infiniti G37 moonlight pearl paint code QAA. Perfect match. So if you have a pearl white color vehicle that has an off white look to it this should match it very closely if not perfectly. Gloss matches the factory clear coat better than satin. EDIT: bought a new work light and found out that the Avery wrap and Infiniti paint donโt really match. They are close but Infinitis moonlight pearl has a gold glitter when 5000 lumens hits it. Just wrap the whole damn car cause nothing matches factory paint

Vinyl done right
Very fine material lays out nice and sticks to what you put it on. Color is stunning in the sun On a test pice, I applied over a symbol that was welded on to the pice and you can see all of the ripples in the weld Try a sample of the vinyl and you're going to be a believer too

Just as good as 3M
Ordered samples of this and the 3m satin pearl sp10. Was a little afraid this wasn't 3m and had no prior experience with this particular brand. Had a nice, quality stretching ability and the adhesive is just as good as 3m so far. Easy to work with. The gloss of this matched my cars paint perfectly. Company was prompt to answer my questions.

Does not match with half of the photos it has displayed.
Has more of a yellow color to it. It doesn't match half of the photos it has displayed on the pictures. It's not white but more of a yellow cream color. It does NOT match a platinum white pearl car.

Platinum white match
Near perfect match for Ford platinum white. I started with my door handles, and it looks great. Shipping took longer than it was supposed to, but I don't think that's the sellers fault
