The Wall Charger and Surge Protector (5 outlets with 4 USB charging ports) is excellent. I have them all over the house, and they’re very convenient for charging multiple devices at once. The surge protection adds peace of mind, and the USB ports work well for phones, tablets, and other gadgets. A practical and reliable solution for keeping everything powered and organized.

This Addtam product is quality made. I really like that it simply plugs into a (standard two outlet) wall power outlet . . . and instantly converts it to provide five power outlets and four USB surge protected USB charging ports, wow! It even has a plastic prong that inserts into the lower outlet to strengthen and secure the device in the wall. Its easy to do, and you get so much more from that standard wall outlet. I have always had a problem running out of outlets to accommodate all the transformers needed to charge cell phones, tablets, and laptops, etc., on the same kitchen countertop. This device solves that problem, and get this, the additional power outlets have an angle (instead of straight in) which allows additional transformers if needed, very nice. The four surge protected USB ports on the device include three USB-A ports and one USB-C port connections. I like that it is not expensive and it does so much. It works well for me and I recommend it to you.

This is the second one I have purchased. I am overall pleased with it's operation and it is layed out to provide lots of additional plugins to a standard two plug outlet. but I need to point out one feature that needs additional explanation. This device does have "Surge Protection" that is indicated by the lighted little green circle/dot. If that light is on, the protection is active. The little white center on the green dot sort of looks like a reset switch, but it is not. If the light goes out, the surge protection is no longer active and there is no reset, automatic or otherwise. When I asked "Rufus" about resetting the device, it correctly advised there is no reset, the solution is to buy another one if you want surge protection. I'll continue to use the now unprotected unit in another outlet in my house that is connected to a GFI plugin that protects it from power surges. My wish is that the description for this unit should carry some sort of warning that the surge protection is a one time affair that is not re settable to operational status if it is triggered.

Handles multiple appliances and easy to install, had lightning strike and they did their job protecting our computers and TVs

Love this product! The fact that it has a built-in surge protector is great. My husband uses it behind his nightstand to recharge his phone and to plug in his lamp and CPAP. Prior to buying this, we always had to crawl under our bed to get to an available outlet.

I was reluctant to buy 2 of these surge protectors. I’ve bought similar models on Amazon that have been in use for many years but these appeared to be designed differently. The main difference was that this version does not screw into the wall receptacle and could possibly be simply loose fitting and not capable of handling multiple plugs at the same time. Remarkable, the opposite was true, this version exceeded my expectations and is better than the ones I currently have. Not only did the surge protector fit securely and snugly in the wall receptacle, it handle multiple plugs with ease-holding them firmly and tightly. I have two high current space heaters plugged into this gem of a surge protector and it handles the high current and heat extremely well, in fact, there’s absolutely no heat felt at the wall or the surge protector. With these features and the additional safety aspects of this well constructed unit, I’m buying several more. Highly recommend this product.

Very nice outlet with 5 outlets nicely spaced and 3 USB A and 1 USB C charging ports. Set up behind the back left side of my desk where I can connect to charging ports/outlets built into my desk. Leaves my other outlet on the other side free for computer, monitor and speakers. Green light on indicates surge protected. Fits nice and snug plugged on the wall. Would buy again.

I really like this wall outlet as it eliminates the need for a bulky power bar with wires sticking up and everywhere. Also, the USB charging ports are very useful and they actually provide a decent charging current. A way to screw the device into the outlet would have been useful like other versions, but this version works great overall.
