Didn’t expect much for the price, but feels very well made and is very comfortable. The back is very supportive for sitting long periods and feels very ergonomic. Built in about 25 minutes, and looks a lot more expensive than it was.

I had a very similar product bought in Tesco a long-long time ago. The gas spring gave in a couple of months ago and the plastic casing/fitting of it finally crumbled away... It might have been due to the girlfriend sitting on my lap when we were shopping together online, hmmm? The old chair served me for well over 15 years and was about the same price as this. After 2 months of use of the new one, this feels better, it's very comfy and it is seemingly the exact same construction as the last one, just with some extra padding added here and there which is appreciated. I am happy with it! I've never used the arm wrests as I play guitar and piano and those would be in the way. The tilt spring needs a little bit of oil otherwise it can be a bit noisy when tightened, but not an issue. With my 70kg (~11 stone), I expect this chair to last at least 10 years as well. Excellent chair, would have paid even double the amount knowing how reliable they are. Don't forget, the tilting can be locked by pushing in the height adjuster lever. Pulling it out to the side will unlock the tilting again. I see many people are returning these chairs because they can't be bothered to read 1 page!

A sturdy chair that looks far more expensive than it was. Very well packaged and easy to assemble. I decided against fitting the arms and, unlike many other chairs, this one does not rely on the arms being fitted for stability. Very pleased with my purchase.

This chair is marketed for office use with a reclining function and has failed after 4 months of use. There are two major flaws. 1- Firstly, the reclining function places a strain on the seat base where the chair back screws into the base. This has resulted in the seat base giving way and cracking on mine. It is no longer safe to use as the chair back drops backwards if any weight is applied, with the cracked seat base pushing into the cushioning. (For context I weigh approx 82kg/180lbs, so I'm not a heavy person) 2- Secondly the seat is hard. You can feel the padding has deteriorated after only 4 months of use, leaving it flatted in the center and uncomfortable. This makes it unsuitable for office use where you need to be sat for many hours a day. (For context I am sat for at least 8 hours over a 10 hour period, 5 days a week. This is a typical use case for office chairs and on it's own enough to warn people not to purchase) The seat base is a sealed unit. It comes with screw holes drilled and plugged so there is no way to accidently put the wrong screw or parts togther. This is the way the manufacturer has designed it, thus any fault within the the part is down to manufacturing specs and or design. At the price paid I was not expecting a fabulous chair, but it should be safe and fulfil the marketed functions. I have now to go through a process of requesting a refund, as clearly the design flaws have casued this chair to fail. If it was possible to give this a minus rating I would. Don't buy this chair. Learn from me and look for a better, safer, more comfortable option.

This chair is pretty easy to put together and very comfy - and for light use is probably fine. With the current shift to working from home however, instead of seeing 2 to 3 hours use, 3 or 4 nights a week - an extra 40+ hours of work time in the chair took its toll. I bought the chair in August last year, and now 4.5 months later it is already in need of a replacement. It is still comfy however the back support no longer does anything of the sort and if I try to lean back into the chair, I may as well be led down.

You get what you pay for... After going round in circles trying to get a new office chair, I decided I was losing the will to live, and hence decided go for a cheap one. Previously, I have had many high back "executive" leather (false leather) office chairs. After searching all the reviews, none of them left me with confidence, that the "leather" won't start peeling off (again) leaving flecks of plastic around the house. So decided this time to try out a mesh chair. Searching reviews of these chairs, left me none the wiser, as reviews of chairs are so hit and miss. As such, I decided to check out the Ikea ones, which were far more expensive (£175+) and still none of them had reviews that would blow your mind. So I decided, if I was to risk a chair with such mixed reviews, I may as well just go for the cheapest, and landed on this. As per my opening sentence, you get what you pay for. And as long as you keep that in mind, you won't be disappointed with this chair. However, if you expect all singing all dancing, really tight (no wobble) chair, you will be disapointed. If you take the opinion, well it's a third the price of others, then you'll be happy. One point to note and a word of advice. Note the "high back" is not as high as I had hoped, as the chair only goes up to tops of my shoulders (I'm 6ft tall), so there is no head-rest as such. As for advice, put the back of the chair on, BEFORE the mechanism on the base, as the plate for the back needs to sit under the heigh mechanism for the holes to align. For the money, not bad.. but would be disappointed if I paid over £100 for a chair of the same quality.

Really good chair, had no issues and good value for money. Super easy to put together aswell.
