Car camping with tent? You need this light!
Taking my indoor daughter camping required a light for her to read by. This light did a great job illuminating our 10 x 9 tent using only the lower brightness setting. We haven't used the fan yet (temps never got above 65F on our 3-night trip), but I like that the speed settings include low, high and intermittent. Removing the base to insert batteries was a bit tricky the first time. I have small hands that could barely reach across the base. Using my old standby for removing jar lids and such, I grabbed a pair of rubber gloves and got the base off easily. I had bought an 8-pack of D batteries, inserted 4 and took the rest along just in case. I never needed to replace batteries and we had the light on for 1-3 hrs per night (sunset during our trip was a little after 9 pm). The light/fan is a bit heavy with batteries installed and it's a bit large overall, so I wouldn't recommend to backpack campers, but for car campers like us, we love it!

It WORKS!!!
I was very doubtful that it would work very good, but it worked GREAT!! I used it on a camping trip. It kept me and my dog cool in the tent at night. Takes 4 C batteries. Worked just a little longer than it said it would on high for one set of batteries.

Not bad
Its a fan, a light, hangs from the top of a tent, but the battery life is not so good if you like to have a fan on while you sleep. Even on low it barely makes it 2 nights, which, isn't terrible, but it also isn't that good in my opinion.

Great buy perfect for camping!
I bought for camping and couldn’t be happier! Light is bright (3 settings) and fan also has 4 settings. The last is nice it blows for a few seconds and off for a few. Like when your not sure if you’re hot or cold lol (keeps air circulating). Wasn’t too loud to sleep and I’ve used it 3 nights so far on one set of batteries. The only thing I wish it had or that I could rig is a way to tell the difference in the fan vs light button in the dark so you don’t accidentally blind yourself when you mean to turn on the fan etc. but that’s not a big deal it would just be nice. I like that it can hang in the tent or stand by itself and that it’s adjustable. I live in FL so I will use this when the power goes out as well as camping. Two thumbs!!

Worked great!
I hung this from the top of my tent on the inside. I ended up only having to use the lower setting for the lighting because it was so bright. The fan was adequate but I did need a small one right next to me as well. This was because the fan was hanging from the tent ceiling though. It provided a nice bit of circulation. I only used this when I was in my tent for a 4 day, 3 night camping trip and I'm still working on the original batteries. I kept the box it came in so I could transport it better. It is light and compact for packing and hauling. Would recommend this!

Automatically shuts off after an hour
What it doesn’t tell you in the description is that it will shut off after an hour of use. Which when your camping in Arizona you need it to last through the night. It has decent wind power and the light is bright but just not great at what it needs to do when camping.

Best tent fan and light!
This is easily portable. We hung it inside our tent at the beach. The fan kept the heat dissipated all day, which made it easier to stay at the beach longer. I'm looking forward to taking it camping this summer, as I anticipate the fan will help keep mosquitos at bay. The light has a brightness variable. We were also able to use it as a reading lamp in our hotel room.

Bright light and powerful fan
Fan is much more powerful than previous model. Has multiple speeds and light levels(never had to use on highest setting)Battery life seemed good, lasted whole 4 day trip and could’ve gone longer (although didn’t get to use fan as nights were cool). Its pretty light even with the batteries that you can hang from loop in tent with built-in hook without pulling down. Recommend as essential part of camping gear.
