Does this product leave a load of gunge on the surface? I'm trying to find a fly-spray that doesn't

Not really. A bit of fluid, barely noticeable. Kills the fly incredibly quickly. Great stuff.

Can you spray this onto a surface and leave it so that when the wasps land they will be killed.

In regards to your message the manufacturer has advice that the product is more effect when used as a spray. Therefore for the best result spray the insect when they are flying on surfaces cannot guarantee that it will be as effective
