Must Have Gotten a Dud?
First off, I do like other Milton Lloyd stuff. I started out with their Victor No9 Parfumer's Choice (the Aventus inspired one) and it was a great cheapie. I've tried a few Color Me samples as well and liked them. Essentials no9, the grey bottle, is not bad and has a distinctive woody scent to it. This number 10 though... I don't understand all the 5 star reviews unless I received a defective batch or something. It smells interesting and nice when you pop the cap and even at first spray but then this musk just overwhelms everything and gave me a headache. I tried multiple times but ended up having to throw the bottle away because it was so offensive. It does last long and project really well, but what's the point if it smells absolutely horrid?

Notes that are most prominent are leather, rose, musk and slight apple on top. This one is good, but not my taste. Good projection and longevity.
