BOSCH 22CA Clear Advantage Beam Wiper Blade - 22" (Single)

Purchased for a 2013 VW Beetle 2.5L. This car uses a 19mm push button mount. This wiper does include the mount and does work with the vehicle. As for performance, it clears the window well and doesn't chatter.

It locks onto the arm securely and sits flat against the windshield instead of lifting at the edges. Wiping performance has been clean with no streaking or skipping, even in heavier rain. It also clears pollen well — you can see in my photos how clean the path is under the blade. The frame feels sturdy and the rubber edge looks well made. So far it’s been smooth, quiet, and exactly what you want from a replacement blade.

Works great and doesn't squeal like the old one. Instructions could be better for the adapters.

Update: I bought 2 more of these and this time they are performing perfectly fine, very quiet as expected from new wipers, also they are a great value for the price as Valeo wipers have increased in price considerably. (Also reseller shipped item quickly and arrived in good condition) Original review: I used to buy BOSCH wipers many years ago and they were pretty good, then I found Valeo Ultimate wipers that I found superior in quality, quiet operation and easier to install. Unfortunately, my mother's car needed a new driver side wiper, and this BOSCH was an affordable option at $11 USD, but in this case, you get what you paid for, after installing this wiper in a J-style hook the clasp would not close securely no matter how hard I press on it, the plastic adapter feels flimsy and over engineer it. This product went straight into the garbage can. Thumbs up to Amazon for refunding the cost of this wiper.

Fit a 2011 dodge ram 1500 perfectily. Cleans the winshield well. Once you figure out how to put them on they're easy to install. Its the figuring it out that's the hard part.

As a professional in the construction supply industry and formerly in the automotive industry that has worked with Bosch products from adolescence, this is hands down the worst product I have ever seen branded by them. This honestly smacks of cheap gimmicky products from China branded as Bosch. I cannot express the unbelievable disappointment I feel. Not only is it that the Amazon fitment guide was absolutely incorrect about this being used on my vehicle, with the caveat that they will fit a J-hook wiper, which mine is, but the instructions are positively insipid, and I do not use that word lightly. The package comes with the wiper and frame and several clips for various applications. The clips are labeled. The instructions, however, do not take any space they are printed on to identify which is which. Further even once you figure out how to read these, frankly baffling instructions, it gives little to no context for what in the name of Bosch you are supposed to be doing in the pictures. AND, I cannot help but notice half of the pictures have little speaker icons in them, indicating that this is an online guide and there is supposed to be things I am listening to. Bosch! We are not all going to have our phones or laptops near us at all times. These are not always going to be installed under ideal conditions. Some of us, and I know this is a real shocker, still like to read things on paper. And I can tell you know this because you printed it on PAPER! This may be the laziest execution of a product I have ever seen from Bosch. And Amazon, the fitment guide needs to be updated to show that these do not fit a '21 WRX, 2 x 22" blades are not appropriate. It must be a 26" blade on the driver side and a 16" blade on the passenger side. I know that there is a degree that this falls on me for not knowing what the fitment should be myself. But I am going to forgive myself for that because, like anyone else reading this, I have a million things going on in life right now and no matter how much I love my car, some things are going to escape my attention, and Amazon provides a tool to alleviate that, which in this case, has failed us.

I always bought these wipers for my 90s Devilles. But specifications changed, the large pin on the wiper arms doesn't fit anymore.

Installed the Bosch Clear Advantage 22CA and 18" Wiper Blades the day before a long trip in the rain and the wipers worked extremely well light drizzle to pouring rain, at all speeds up to 100 kph. They were very quiet, smooth and did a very even and dry clearing of water. No streaks or missed areas. Some splash back in heavy rain. On sale, the 22" is an excellent wiper for me and fit my Toyota Matrix (pre-tested the size with an old wiper) and was 7 Dollars less than the 21" recommended fit. The instructions suck though, with too small text, minimal and not clear descriptions. There was an online YouTube video which helped with changing attachment options but even it was not as good as Bosch could have done. Next time will be easy to install. I keep them and my windshield covered in winter and will try to be careful in not getting them frozen to the glass as they are quite expensive to replace if damaged. Highly recommended if you can afford them and the Advantage series, while highly rated by YouTube's Project Farm tests, is only Tier 3 of the Bosch wipers, meaning not even their best (which I could not afford).
