these are cheap but they work great. easy on/off. bright in all directions. better than a flashlight if you just need light in the area. they don’t like to be dropped but they work great.

I got these because of a scheduled power outage in my neighborhood and my led candles are currently in some box buried in storage while I deal with some renovations. These worked fantastic and are my new go-to for outages. I like that they're powered by AA batteries. I don't have to worry about making sure they're charged up before an outage (which isn't always possible if there's an emergency situation) and most people have AA batteries on hand. For being powered by 3 AA batteries, they're pretty bright. Just one of them is enough to give me enough light to see around my room, and three of them placed throughout illuminated almost as well as my overhead light. I would even say these are on par with the slightly larger camping lanterns we have which run on 3 D batteries. You can control the brightness by only opening them partially. This is very convenient if you have littles who still need a nightlight to sleep, but would be disturbed by having a lantern on at full bore. You could even apply some transparent colored tape around it to mute the light further if you wanted. They're nice and lightweight, easy to hang or carry. Obviously, they're much safer than flame candles during a power outage, and they give off much more light than my led candles. I also like that I don't have to fiddle with a switch when I'm half-asleep and just need something to give me enough light to avoid stubbing my toe while going to the bathroom.

I bought these for camping but ended up using them when I lost power during this past blizzard. Very bright and so easy to turn on. They are compact and you just lift the top to make the light go on. They lasted for a long time and were very bright. So happy I bought them.

These are perfect for a power outage or just conveniently lighting up an area without needing to plug anything up. They aren't SUPER bright but they are bright enough. Very power efficient, I use one of these regularly for several hours at a time and still haven't needed to change the batteries in it. Excellent value for the price.

Very nice design. A little bright when you first pull them up but they seem to work well and you can carry them around hope they will prevent complete darkness in a power outage that's what I bought them for

These are the perfect size camping lamps or when the lights go out in the house they give you a nice bright light.

These are very bright and will come in handy if the power goes out again. We lost power, like so many others, in the January snow/ice storm. We put batteries in them as soon as we got them so they will be easy to use. The handles are a plus for ease of caring and hanging. . They are metal and not plastic so very durable.

After our power went out a couple nights ago, I realize I needed something more than candles. Let’s hope there’s no more power outages, but if there is, I’m ready because these are nice and bright.

I’m all set up for any blackouts when the electric goes off. They are well made and also look good and can be hung up in any room. I’ve also bought some for my friend who is a pensioner.

They look small, and they are very light, but they have an intense light. They are perfect to put on the table for dinner and extra light when I am cooking outside

Perfect for outdoors. I use them for desert and they are perfect. Strong light, easy to use and carry.
