I've yet to read these specific books of his but I recently finished "How to read a tree", which I found both fun, interesting and, as far as the subject allows, even gripping at times. Great read to sit or lie outside in the sun with. I was hooked on his books and happy to buy this 3-pack. So why rate these books now? Well, somehow, I received a 4-pack, which also included "The Natural Explorer", all taped together and under cellophane... exactly the one book of his I had considered but not bought yet... so, yeah, awesome :) Just FYI... Bought from seller DE FINDER btw, arrived in Germany in just under a week. Perfect.
