Laptops For Dummies

Have been buying these "Dummies" books since I got first computer in '98. They are always informative and I recommend them to everyone as there is sure to be something of interest to all degrees of users. Just got first laptop 2 months ago and wanted something to reference to be sure I was using it in the way it should be. Still haven't finished reading it as can't stay off computer when not busy with other things. Well worth the money to have around for those forgetful moments. Easy to look things up as you need it or read it straight thru!

Really helpful book and exactly what I needed, unlike the fancy difficult books that are of no use to us non technically trained folks this one gets right to the point. I covers different subjects explaining them simply what to and not to do. There are some nifty diagrams and pictures visual aids are always a plus. Some subjects are how to deal with broadband, dial up modems,,printer set up, wi fi, viruses and so much more. The index is really helpful making finding things a snap the print is a good size so reading is easy

Like to use this book when we want to refer back to something. It does a good job of explaining things.

This book was very, very helpful for me as much as I expected it should have been. I`m 65 yrs. old and decided its time to explore the cyber world, I`ve had some dealings with laptops but I needed more help to learn more what they could do to help and benefit my retirement. I`ve found so many helpful stuff about laptop computers that now I can`t stay away from my laptop now. Thank you Dan Gookin.

If you already knew something about computers , this book might be okay, otherwise no.

Book came on time and packaged well. It is a good Reference book to go to and I highly recommend it. Easy read.

If you learn just one thing from this book, it's well worth the cost. I keep it close.

Got this for my mum who has wanted to get to grips with her laptop for a while, she has found this guide both useful and funny. Very helpful book that has continued to help her with her I.T skills, highly recommended!!
