OmniMount OC80FM Full Motion TV Mount for 37-Inch to 63-Inch TVs,Black

Came in last week and it looked pretty daunting so I procrastinated for a while. Finally - today - I broke open the box, scattered everything over the room, watched the installation videos and broke out the tools to do the job. I had read the reviews and a number of folks said that the mount isn't robust enough. I beg to differ. You could mount a Sony Trinitron (that means that the TV weighed 3 tons) on this sucker and if the studs in the wall held so would the mount. This is an excellent piece of workmanship and well worth the money. Installation was simple enough except for one thing. The video shows that the wall plate should be taken off in order to make the mount easier. I did so and recommend that IF you do it this way, you have help at hand - help with small fingers and infinite patience. It comes apart easily - just like in the video. However the video didn't show a bunch of washers and bearing flying through the air. In order to get the thing back in order I had to spend almost an hour cussing and fretting to get it mounted again - with all the parts. I suggest you follow the written guide sent with the mount.

This was our second try at a TV wall mount - The first one was by Mount-IT has over 6,000+ amazing reviews and it was a piece of garbage. My husband and a friend spent the better part of an afternoon - jigging this one around to make it work. The bold were the wrong size - it was just not right. So I got back on the interweb and found this Omni-Mount. WOW~ I left on some errands and my husband had this up with the TV mounted all on his own and said it was SO easy and well put together. It moves just as it says it will, you can pull it out and spin it towards you very easily. I would purchase this again for another TV. Our TV: 55" Samsung LCD weighs about 37lbs

It's hard to believe that this little mount works so well when you open the package but I have to admit that it does just that. We have our 60 inch samsung LED mounted to it in the living room and it has worked well so far (a couple months). Pros easy to install with decent instructions; mounts to wall securly easy to mount backer which holds tv easy to hang tv to the mount (but requires 2 person). easy to remove tv from mount you can tilt the tv up/down slightly you can move the tv in/out from wall you can move the tv side to side easily Great price for the value Cons I have to admit I'm still nervous about the way the tv is held by the mount - it just kind of drop into one connection spot. Like I said, we've had no problems during our use so far and perhaps this is not an issue, but I would have liked to have seen some locking screw or covering to make me feel more secure In spite of the con, I would highly recommend this product - it works well, is well made, and is great value for the money

I used this to mount a 2009-model Samsung LN-model TV (46 inches, just under 50 lbs) in my bedroom. I wanted something that had adequate tilt, and just enough extension so I can get 20-30 degrees of swivel. This mount met those requirements nicely. Installation was very easy with the supplied instructions. Plenty of hardware was supplied to do the mounting (various screws for different TVs) but I still had the original mounting bolts that came with my TV, so I used those. I was a bit nervous about using a two-bolt/one-stud mount (my TV in the living room uses 4 bolts going into two studs) but my fears were misplaced. Hit the stud, and it should hold anything within spec easily. My 46" TV doesn't sag a bit even at full extension. Omnimounts have great motion. I can easily extend, swivel, and tilt. Also, you can adjust the level considerably after the fact if you didn't get a perfectly level install. Overall, I recommend it highly if you're just looking for a reasonable amount of movement on a mid-size TV.

We pondered even mounting our 42 inch flat screen TV on the wall for some time. In researching the products available out there and finally deciding on this OmniMount Full Motion , it was well worth it. My husband and I are Very Pleased with this product and the functions it offers. We can turn it to the right, left and up and down,, in and out from the wall. It is very sturdy and was easy to assemble with the instructions provided. I have recommended this product to my friends and family and to anyone looking for a good sturdy functional TV wall mount. .

My boyfriend and I are big OmniMount fans. They make quality pieces for mounting just about every tech item in your home. This mount is perfect! Wanted a full motion mount for our kitchen/bar and this fits all our needs. Easy to install and step by step directions. It took us about 30 minutes to get our TV on the wall. Nice, heavy duty support (it's only holding a 40 in TV, we went with the bigger mount in case we want to upgrade in the future) that functions seamlessly. It comes with quite a bit of extra hardware, but I guess they have to overcompensate for any type of television. Highly recommended.

This has been a great mount, we have 2 of them. One mounted into a concrete wall in our basement with a 55" TV and one that we had above our fireplace which used to have a 55" TV but we just put a new 65" TV up. Even with an off center stud, because of the omnimount arm it was able to center the TV with no problem while also keeping it close to the wall. For those in a situation like me, this mount can actually hold a MUCH larger TV than just the recommended 63" it really is more about weight. The adapter/mount goes up to 600 x 400 on the VESA scale I believe which can take care of some quite large TVs.

Used this to mount a 47" screen. The mount itself is awesome, great range and gives my tiny apartment a bit more space. I have needed to move the mount into a new position almost every day, and so far it has been very stable. No drifting or moving around. Feels very secure on the wall. I'm giving it four stars instead of five because the manual is hard to decipher, which resulted in a fair amount of trial and error while putting the mount together. The short YouTube video doesn't help with the details of assembly. I have a lot of diy experience and enjoy putting together Ikea furniture, but these directions were so unclear in parts - just made it a bit slower and inefficient putting it together. It was worth it though, and feels very stable and sturdy.
