Great for pad Thai
I bought this for a pad Thai recipe. This is my first time using preserved radish, recipe came out great! The recipe tasted just as good as my favorite restaurant version.

Too salty, not sweet
This was nothing liked I expected. It says it is "sweet" preserved radish, so I expected it to taste, you know, sweet. It does not, not even a little bit. For me, it is so salty as to be almost inedible. I even washed it to try and get rid of some of the salt, but it is still fairly disgusting. It is like eating chewy salt. It is like salty, chewy radish jerky. I do not recommend at all unless you are looking for salty, chewy radish jerky.

Sweet?
Couldn't find these in the local specialty market so was glad to find them on Amazon. I love the sweet pickle flavor these add to food. Not too sweet, not too tangy. It's hard to describe the flavor, just the right touch of flavor for various Thai dishes.
