They work. Super simple but effective.
We have a GE front loader we bought from Costco. We bought for our new house to go in the 2nd floor laundry room. We had no idea the vibrations a front loader can create in a second floor, we always had them in basements. The previous home owner said he always had a top loader. We tried leveling it. Front to back, side to side and corner to corner. Helped a little but not much. It felt like helicopter blades were buffeting right next to your ear drums. The whole house would shake, you could hear the plumbing rattling within the walls and things would come tumbling down around the house. Not exaggerating (maybe a little). I was looking for an affordable solution. I didn't want to pay $170 for a very elaborate metal contraption I saw online. Although the isolation system did seem to work magically on YouTube, it is a lot of money. These don't work as well as the expensive system appears to but dollar for dollar, these can't be beat. Vibrations are down considerably. Buffeting is completely gone. Pipes vibrate mildly but no longer rattle. You can continue having your conversation. Things don't fall over anymore. Absolutely amazingly simple and truly effective. I bought a second set to elevate the dryer to have matching height. It will also prevent the dryer from moving around as well. It's been creeping around over time from the door being open and shut. These should fix that problem too.

Yes, It Really Works!
We have just installed these pads to our LG front loading Washer & Dryer combo, complete with stands. I was partially skeptical despite glowing reviews for this product; but, I am now fully convinced. Once installed on clean floor and a level balanced device they COMPLETELY dampen (not eliminate) vibrations, and sounds. It ELIMINATES walk entirely! I am very happy that with the compartment stands installed - that are optional to the front loading LG devices - the added height did not cause any negative reactions as well. It is a simple well made rubber footing that securely sticks to the floor without adhesive. Testing the product with a full load capacity and a thorough demanding wash/rinse/spin cycle with potentially balance challenging wash items - heavy wet towels, it performed flawlessly. I even took measurements from the original positioning of the pads. It did not move even a fraction of an inch. I listened from the basement below the laundry room and gone was the banging sounds of the washer rocking and walking itself across the floor. I did adjust one or two of the feet, despite the washer being level during the initial install, it alleviated a slight rock during a vigorous spin. It did not change the level reading very much and all sides were within the 'bubble' on the level. Again I am very pleased with the performance of this product and highly recommend it to anyone wanting to reduce and eliminate the vibration, noise, and movement of your Washer. The packaging states: "Enjoy Peace And Quiet"; they are not kidding. In short it works!

The isolators arrived quickly and were as advertised. While a bit of a pain to position under my washer that was due to the tight space I was doing it in. Once I broke down and moved the dryer it was fine. The washer has stopped walking around and the vibration is greatly reduced. One thing to be aware of tho- this is my second set of isolators. The first set lasted well over 5 or 6 years or so. You will likely have to replace them every few years as compressive set will eventually diminish their effectiveness. They do work very well but know you'll have to change them every few years. All isolators will do this. Great product and I do recommend them.

No more washer or dryer scooting!
My front-load washer and dryer are both fairly large, and while they do a great job on my clothes, I found that if I washed a large or dense load (like a bunch of towels) the machines would take on a life of their own: wobbling, shaking, scooting… We’re talking scooting that would put my dog to shame. And no, I was not overloading the machines. It’s amazing how far a large front-load washer can travel on a hard tiled floor, and I figured if I didn’t find a solution soon I might come home one day to find my washing machine in my living room. I searched for something I could put beneath the washer and dryer to keep them in place. Most mats designed for this purpose had mediocre reviews, but then I stumbled on these little “hockey pucks” and took a chance on them since their reviews were fairly positive. They have been nothing short of amazing. I put one of these discs beneath each foot of the two machines, and since then the washer and dryer have remained firmly planted to the floor. In 15 months they have not budged even an inch. If you look at my photo, you can see that these discs are quite substantial, and they seem to be made of a very heavy and dense rubber. They aren’t adhesive or particularly tacky, but they do seem to provide enough traction with the floor (probably helped by the weight of the machines) to keep the washer and dryer from moving. Here’s a big tip: While these discs do a nice job of preventing my machines from relocating themselves, they do NOT address the “shaking” problem. Even with these discs in place, if I washed a heavy load the machines would still rock back and forth -- this is probably made worse because they are both elevated few feet off the ground. To cut down on the shaking I used sheets of Dynamat, which are basically heavy adhesive sheets. I stuck three sheets to each side of my washer and two to each side of my dryer and they really cut down on the shaking.
