Terana Chopped Epazote Seasoning, 0.92 Ounce

I have bought other epazote before at local stores and online and those products were gray and filled with more stick pieces than leafy herb parts—so annoying! But this epazote was a bright green and had no stick bits. It is fantastic and full of that unique woodsy almost smoky taste of real deal epazote. I mostly use it in refried beans but also add some to my tortilla soup for a little extra flavor that always leaves people asking for my recipe.

Definitely not the same as fresh but a reasonable sumbstitute

This epazote is of good quality; the aroma and taste are great. The jar is larger than many competitors. It has the screw-on metal lid only; no plastic lid with holes underneath. Be careful because you might pour half your epazote on the first dish. I highly recommend it for Mexican dishes that use black beans or mushrooms.

I can't taste this stuff. At all. I can smell it just fine (smells like something that should be smoked rather than ingested, tbh), but no matter how much I use I can't discern a taste. I bought this after a friend recommended it in spite of seeing several people complain about the taste. Well, I'm here to say I can neither complain nor rave. It has no taste at all to me.

Seems to work to alleviate beany flatulence and tastes nice.

Have been waiting weeks (yes, even with amazon prime!) for this and it finally arrived; seal on bottle was broken, lid was partially undone and product was spilling into bag holding this bottle. So disappointed as I wanted to try this in a new recipe~now I can't even return it for refund and will have to order more (different brand for sure) and wait again! Not impressed at all!

The product came with broken cap.

I bought this to help degas beans. It did exactly what it is supposed to do. I will be reordering as it is difficult to find fresh Praxiteles in my local grocery stores.

Epazote is a Mexican delicate and delicious spice. People who complain about the flavor, lack of it etc just don't know how to use it. You can add to re fried beans, or corn on the cob with butter for a delicious Mexican taste . Add epazote, lime juice, salt and pepper to frozen corn after boiling and straining. I have bought epazote from Terrana before and it lasts with full flavor
