Great scope
Absolutely great scope. Point of impact stays right where you zero it from lowest magnification to highest magnification. Glass is super clear. Lifetime warranty

Very nice scope but pricey.
The one thing I wanted to comment on regarding this scope is that a lot of reviewers are saying that the reticles get lost when they are shooting against dark backgrounds. I took the scope out on my deck and looked across the street into the tree tops and almost lost it, when yes I lost sight of the reticles, but then I took it inside and looked through the scope at a large sheet of white paper and adjusted the diopter until the reticles were perfectly crystal clear and then adjusted the AO for the proper distance (not that it was needed) and the reticles could be seen very well, I even took it into the woods and tried to see if I could loose the reticles in dark areas (day was overcast) and couldn't, over all I am happy with how the scope performs but time will tell, you cant in my opinion base a scopes accuracy on the scope, its the firearm or ammo that's not right, unless the scope actually gets broken somehow!

Maybe worth the money. Every decent scope is expensive.
I had a $100 Hawke 4X32 that i loved! but it broke after 3 days. That's why I bought a $200 2-7X32. It's a good bit shorter length scope, to my surprise, and it fits my small rifle nicely. It's still perfect after 2500 rounds on my mild springer. I love the dots and dashes on the reticle. I think it's an etched reticle and that's why it's not broke. However, often it's hard to see the reticle when the contrast is not conducive. I may try a $200 vortex on my next rifle to see if I can get one to endure a sub-sonic springer. I'm new to airgun scopes but have had a pile of firearm scopes from Vortex, Sig, BSA, Bushnell and SWFA. Hawke is just as nice as I've had from these names.

Excellent scope for more powerful air guns
This scope holds zero on my Benjamin NP Elite, where others did not. The glass is bright and clear with adequate eye relief at all magnifications. Adjustments are reliable, without having to fire multiple shots for it to settle down. The reticle is very nice. I wish it were a first focal plane design, so the mil-dots would subtend the same angle and be consistent at all magnifications, but I knew this was a second focal plane scope when I bought it, and am not deducting any stars on that basis. I would have preferred to have used Hawke's significantly cheaper 4x32 AO Mil-dot scope, but they don't stand behind them, if your air gun produces more than 12 foot pounds of energy. Such a scope may work well on rifles producing 18 or 20 ft-lbs, but they won't stand behind it, if it doesn't, so I went with this one. I didn't want to take the chance, and this one does do the job.

Unlucky defective one received.
I lost the gamble on getting a good one. The one sent to me had a defective AO and was always out of focus. No problem returning to Amazon. Scope fits my needs but unsure of taking a second chance.

Initial Review
Just installed the scope on my Benjamin Trail NP2 today. Iโve only shot it a few times while tuning the new aftermarket trigger so this is just my first impressions of the scope. The scope came well packaged in a nice box with a cleaning cloth and instruction manual. Both the adjustable objective, the power ring and the eyepiece focus controls move reasonably easy but would stay at the setting unless moved. Both of the horizontal and vertical adjustment turrents are easily adjusted with fingers and have positive click detents. The scope is crystal clear and the AO works as it should. On first impression this is a very nice air gun scope for the price. My only complaint would be that the reticle and mil-dots are very fine and tend to get lost in a dark or cluttered background. Cranking the power up tends to help a bit but this reticle, at least in the un-illuminated version, would not be my choice as a hunting scope. I will update this again once I get it sighted and do so accuracy testing.

Excellent Compact Scope
I'm very happy with this scope. Mine is mounted to a Weihrauch HW98. It is very solid feeling and exudes quality. All adjustments are smooth and consistent. The optics are clear and bright. The reticle is well thought out overall. However, I agree with others who have commented on how fine the reticle is. You can lose it against a dark backdrop because of how difficult it becomes to see. That shouldn't be a problem at the range, but I could see myself having a hard time aiming at a squirrel on a dark tree trunk during the dim morning hours of hunting season.

A really good quality compact rifle scope
I wanted a reasonably priced compact scope for a Crosman 2250xl. There are lots of budget scopes out there and I was willing to pay a little more than just opting for a really cheap import. I also wanted a scope that I could use in the limited space of my back garden and the 7.5m short focus was perfect. The scope came in a very solid box with plenty of protective packaging. It is supplied with comprehensive instructions describing how to fit the scope to your gun and how to set the scope up correctly. It includes a pair of covers to protect the optics and a lens cleaning cloth. The scope is really good quality, it has a satin matt black finish and feels solidly made. The turrets provide a very positive click adjustment and can be set by fingers, no need to use a coin or bladed screwdriver and risk damaging the lovely finish. There is an ocular focus ring so I could adjust the scope to my eye characteristics. After setting this up I found the reticle to be crisp and sharp. The optics are nice and bright for the size and I found the zoom ring very smooth. The scope holds zero and I have really enjoyed using it. I understand this scope is sourced from China but the quality is high and its obvious Hawke is using one of the better factories for their products. I donโt think this will be the last optics I get from Hawke.

Great accuracy
Great scope; mounted on Gamo silent stalker.177 pellet gun with one piece Hawk mount. Scope required only a slight adjustment to consistently hit 1โ target 30yds. Plan to get heavier pellets to shrink the target size.
