Just buy itโฆitโs totally worth it.
This jig is awesome! It is very high quality and very precise. The case is solid and fits the tool perfectly. The instructions are easy to follow and set up is very easy. It is expensive. No getting around that! But I think itโs totally worth it. Time is money and this jig will save you a lot of time if you are building cabinets and drawers on a fairly regular basis. Even for a weekend woodworker like meโฆIโm able to really use my limited time in the shop more efficiently because of this jig. Personally, I think the โProโ version is an absolute must. If you are doing multiple drawers that are the same size, itโs a time-saver.

Very Efficient
This tool is great, well built, accurate and very easy to use. With this jig, For the first time using this jig, I was able to drill 92 holes in less than 1/3 the time using the other jig.

Just buy it
Is it expensive? Yes. Is it worth it? DEFINITELY. I was a bit reluctant to buy this based on the price, but I'm so glad I did. I've never installed cabinet handles before, but I was able to successfully and flawlessly install 54 handles, and the job looks like it was done by a pro. When I first started using it, I was quadruple checking and measuring everything, but once I got the hang of it, I got more confident in using and trusting it. I'm so glad I didn't opt for one of the cheaper tools that I was considering. This tool is high quality, very precise, and worth every penny. I'm also glad I bought the "pro" version because I definitely needed the extension. There are a number of good YouTube videos that demonstrate how to use it correctly.

Worth the $$$ if you plan on ever using it
This is my 3rd cabinet hardware jig that I have purchased and I wish I wouldve just bit the bullet and bought this one first. I was trying not to spend the money, as this set is much more expensive than all of the others, but after buying the other cheaper ones that are definitely not made in the USA it was a complete waste of my time. Right off the bat, this TPT jig is very solid and you can feel that it is just well built. All of the finger screws actually tighten and keep in place when using, you don't have to worry about the settings moving around on you. The measurements on the tool are very accurate which is a huge help. I install cabinets for a living and have to say that this jig is hands down the best one out there.... Don't waste your time with the others, TPT is well worth the extra money for a high quality reliable jig and even comes with a nice hard plastic case.

Worth the money.
We installed new shaker style cabinets in my mom's kitchen and this jig worked great! It's more expensive than the foreign made versions, but it is built very well and works awesome. As with most of the woodworking jigs I've used, it takes time to set it up, but once it's set, it goes really fast. The drawers we installed were 3 different widths, so set up took a while, but once I knew what to do, it was really fast to set up too. The cabinet doors were especially fast to drill once the jig was set up. This was one job and it was already worth every penny. I totally understand if you don't want to spend extra on this jig, but if you are on the fence, or if you plan on doing a lot of cabs, it's definitely worth the money. Good luck!

Awesome Product!!
We install 76 knobs and pulls throughout our house. A retail store wanted $1400 to install them not including the $1200 we already spent on the knobs and pulls. I said there has to be a cheaper solution. That is where I found the True Position Pro. Tons of YouTube videos on how to install knobs and pulls and most of the pros were using or recommending the True Position jig. Well it works very well and makes the process very easy to repeat the positions over and over. It took us a little over 3 hours to install all 76 of our knobs and pull. A lot of that time was trying to decide where we wanted them. Once that was figured out. It was very easy to set up the jig and repeat the process to the next door or drawer. Not one mistake and they turned out AWESOME!!

Very good, not "perfect". Recommended.
This is the best jig, by far for beginners and experienced users. I'm in between novice and proficient. First, my nit-picking: the case did not hold the extension slide in place; in fact, when I got it, the piece was rattling around the case. The only way I was able to get it secured in the slot where it is supposed to fit was by taking a rubber mallet and putting a towel on top of the slide and banging it into place. Very annoying. The drill bit fits fine in it's slot, as do the other pieces. Now, the working issue as you can see in the video: there is give in, wobble, or space enough between the collar and bit so that it could be off by up to 2mm if you're not paying attention (obviously some space has to exist where the drill bit i placed by the guide); but I found that using a clamp to hold the jig in place on the drawer or door was very helpful and without clamping the jig, errors in measurements resulted. Also, when tightening the spacers on the slide, you do have to pay attention and make sure that where you want them place is where they're placed b/c the guides tighten from one side only, so it takes an extra second or two to make sure the alignment/measurement on either side of center is where your measurements dictate. Video and pic show the issues. With all of this said, it's an very good tool. Save yourself from wasting time, money and headache with any of the $50 ones listed.

Accurate and Repeatable
So I uses this jig and a 5mm bit in a pin vise just to mark the holes. Then I drill them out after removing the jig. I find the jig can slip on you if you are not very attentive to holding it in position while drilling. Additionally, it works great on flat profile doors and drawers, like shaker style. But for faces with curved profiles, it can wobble a bite (to be expected though). Also, the drill can still walk when using the jig. (These may be technique issues.) So that is why I've found it most effective when used just to mark hole locations. It is significantly faster, especially when doing cabinet doors, that is when it shines. When measuring out drawer bases, it still take time to set for each one, when they are different sizes, but it is still much faster than measuring out with a tape, and far easier and more reliable than the other jigs and templates. If you are wondering if it is worth the money, it is. The success of this jig is in the machining, don't go for the budget friendly and be turned off by these kind of jigs, quality fabrication matters here. The only thing I recommend for True Position, is to have the drill bushings fit to a spring punch instead. I'd rather use the jig to make marks with a lightly loaded punch, then the jig with the drill. I feel that would be more accurate.
