Great quality, heavy duty shield cover that is larger than thought .
This cable shield is of excellent quality with a slide open and close design. It was easy to mount the cable inside and slide to close it at the same time. There are two sticky strips on the flat side of the cable shield. It is a simple matter of peeling off the top non sticky layer and pressing the shield down onto the floor. At the moment I've decided just to peel one of the strips to see if it keeps the cable shield attached to the floor, as the cable shield runs across the floor to the the wall from behind my couch and as there isn't as much foot traffic in that area. It a nice solidly constructed shield cover and it blends very well with the rest of my floors. I would absolutely buy this again.

Definitely recommend.
Got this to cover power cord for our Lazy Boy recliners. Perfect size and the cord fit great. Rigid enough to lay flat even if you don't use the adhesive backing. Looks pretty good, also.

Does the job well.
I was able to hide a coax cable, thin power cord for a 19" tv, and a flat AV cable with the yellow, red, white ends in this CSX-2 Cable Shield Cover. It was easy to cut to size with a box cutter by continually scoring the plastic. The piece snapped off in a clean cut once the score was deep enough. I needed the cover in a tight corner which made it impossible to slide the cover back on the track. Snapping it into place does not work well at all, which to me is a good thing in that you know the cover wont be popping off any time soon. However I needed a rubber mallet to pop the cover onto the track. (And that was in a location that had only the coax cable by itself. Therefore it was not the amount of cables inside, rather the quality of the plastic cover snapping into place keeping it from easily snapping on) The section with the three wires was in a location where I could simply slide the cover back on the track with no issues. So keep this in mind if you are working in tight corners like I was. The adhesive on the back of the track worked very well. No issues there at all. And the faux wood sticker finish was very nice and blended well with my light wood grain paneling. I would definitely recommend.

High Quality - Semi-Rigid - Color Comment
Some things I wish I had known: This is a very high quality cord cover. The bottom is a semi-flexible flat strip and the top is a semi-rigid semi-circle roof that snaps into the bottom. The resulting 'tunnel' can hold roughly the width of two outdoor extension cords. The result is a straight, rigid, contained cord tunnel. Again, very good quality. As for the color, I chose wood grain, and it's a bit lighter / taupier than I had hoped. If I were to do it over, I might go with 'brown' to match our old-house wood floors. As for snapping the top to the bottom, I found it easiest to start at one end, push one top edge into the bottom piece then snap down the other side of the cover, and continue doing this along the way.

Their "cherry" is super-red, and the bottom piece is not cherry-finished at all
I ordered the faux cherry wood color, hoping that it would match my cherry paneling cabinetry in our family room, where the big-screen TV is located. Unfortunately their version of cherry is quite red, and won't match my paneling at all (see pic). Also--the back side of the trim is not wood grain--it is a clay/red solid. So even if the faux cherry top piece matched better, there would still be visible top and bottom strips that would not match. That's unfortunate for even people who's cherry finish at home matches the Cable Shield color better than mine did. So while the function of this product is excellent (I also purchased black for a different location), I give the cherry color only 3 stars because (a) it's much more red than most true cherry finishes to begin with, and (b) they didn't finish the bottom piece to match.

Durable cord covers - still going strong after 5 years
I bought a few of these Electriduct Cable Shield Cord Covers nearly 5 years ago, to manage various stereo-speaker and Ethernet cables that I had running crossing various doorways / entranceways -- on either side of the doorways, I was usually able to secure the cables discreetly against the bottom edge of the walls and/or through the walls or under carpets, etc... But the doorway openings proved challenging, and I didn't want to run extra cables all the way up, over, and around the doorframes... So instead I just routed the cords through these cable shields at each doorway where the cables otherwise would've been exposed these entrance paths (and inevitably the cables would've either been damaged by people walking on them and/or would've tripped people -- plus a tangle of exposed cables would've haven't looked nice at all).... Anyway, my initial impression was that these cable shields did their job just fine -- they were easy to cut to size, and the cords I had routed through them easily enough, and they did the trick of making everything look organized and stay relatively protected... On the other hand, they also seemed a bit pricey for what were really pretty simple flat-tubes of rubbery plastic... It would've been nice if longer lengths or more pieces were provided, and/or if they had an improved felt or silicon lining on the bottom that made them less likely to move around on smooth floors (there is also a two-sided tape option to secure them in place, but there were a couple of spots where I wanted to maintain the flexibility of being able to move them around without having to tear up tape every time -- but it would've been nice if they weren't quite so slidy)... However, I'm upping my rating to five stars because I've now had these cord covers in place in my house across multiple spots for nearly 5 years -- and despite being stepped on and kicked around a thousand times, including by pets and kids -- they still look nearly as good as new. They've never cracked or ripped, the cords they're protecting are all still in great shape, and no one's ever been tripped up by them... So I gotta compliment this product for not only doing it's basic job, but also holding up for the long-haul!

Quality at a Price
I ordered the CX2 in wood grain and I'm impressed with the quality of this product. The wood grain looks good and the material is tough. It looks like it can stand up to some pretty heavy pressure. I did see another review that had a picture where the wood grain had rubbed off due to heavy traffic. Only time will tell. If that happens to me I will update this review. This one's a no brainer but I recommend not being an idiot like me and assuming it will be the correct length by eyeballing it. Like I said this thing is tough so if it's too long and needs to be cut I don't think a pair of scissors will do the trick. You'll probably need a power tool or a hand saw. There are two adhesive strips on the back which is nice so I didn't have to glue it down or buy double sided tape. Pros: +Quality material Cons: -Pricey for the length of material Overall this is a quality product. I think it's a little pricey so I'd use it in select locations that are in plain view and buy the cheaper stuff for low traffic areas that are out of sight.

Works great on the floor
This blends in extremely well with my floor. We use this to run an electrical cord over to our power recliner / couch which is in the middle of the room. This covers the cord and protects it very well. It's much nicer than a plain black one or having the cord dangerously run without a cover - that is a tripping hazzard.

Great product, adhesive is strong enough for the cover ...
Purchased the CSX-2 wood grain. Great product, adhesive is strong enough for the cover to stay attached to floor. I currently have two LAN cables and a phone line going through it - could probably fit 4-5 LAN cables through it. One thing to note is that there are two rubber lips on either side of the cover which are slightly different colour than the wood grain pattern, so don't expect it to be a perfect match. I will say that the wood grain pattern is pretty good. Don't know about other colours. Hope this helps.

Awesome product and easy to install.
The package came on time and it was well secured. It was easy to install and the materials they used feels very strong. I have it installed in my living room floor and it matches my flooring well. The cord fit in perfectly and hides it very well. I would definitely recommend this product.

It does the job just fine but it looks more dingy than the photo
It does the job just fine but it looks more dingy than the photo. The faux-wood finish looks sickly brown with a touch of green to it, not a bright or clear wooden color. The images here are much better looking than the actual product, and it looks quite cheap.
