Dizziness and Vertigo: A Simple Guide to Figuring It Out Paperback October 3, 2014

This book many questions for me (89 year old woman) with several physical issues that I'm now understanding now that I've read this book. Highly recommend it.

This was easy to read and I found it helpful to prepare for discussions with drs.

It's a good book, but didn't diagnose my dizziness. I had surgery to marsupialize a rare Thornwaldt cyst in my nasopharnyx and a pinhole in my eardrum to remove fluid 2,5 weeks ago... vertigo last July 31, trip to the ER by ambulance.....still dizzy!

For what it is, a very basic roadmap, it is fine -- especially at the price. However, there are better titles for only a few dollars more that give a much more thorough presentation.

This book may have saved me. I think I figured out the cause of my dizziness and how to treat it. William Wright knows his stuff. He walks you through basically everything that can cause dizziness and tells you how to take care of it. I recommend it if you just can't seem to figure it out or if you have been to so many doctors that don't know how to treat your symptoms. I went to so many doctors which included ENT's, neurologists, homeopathic, hearing and balance centers, and more. No one knew what to do. They either gave me medication to experiment with or told me that this would be something I dealt with for the rest of my life. Check this book out, you won't regret it.

No good ideas

This is a fantastic guide to common causes of dizziness. This is not an all inclusive text, but rather a guide to help a patient suffering from dizziness or vertigo to have a productive conversation with their Doctor.

Superb book. Very straightforward writing. There is a guide to finding out the particular type of vertigo you or your friend has. Then the solutions, and/or treatments are suggested. Some are done by yourself - particularly the most common one. Excellent!
