Samsung Galaxy A51, 128GB + 6GB RAM, Black - Unlocked (Renewed)

I bought the Samsung Galaxy A51 128GB, and after using it for a while, I can say it’s a very good option for its price range. The first thing that stands out is its 6.5-inch display, which is large, bright, and perfect for watching videos, browsing social media, or playing games. Colors look vivid, and the overall viewing experience is very enjoyable.

Me ha gustado mucho el Samsung Galaxy A51. Tiene una pantalla grande y muy bonita, con colores vivos que hacen que ver videos y redes sociales sea muy agradable, con buen rendimiento en apps y multitarea ligera. La cámara toma fotos decentes en el día y el diseño del teléfono es elegante y cómodo en la mano. La batería también me dura bastante durante el día con uso normal.

I bought this unlocked Samsung A52 because I could transfer my current phone plan/Sim card over to this new phone. I have had the exact same phone that I got through straight talk for almost 2 years. Unfortunately I had dropped it and it landed face down onto the driveway and cracked my screen pretty bad and i found the best deal on Amazon thru this store for the exact same phone I had. After 2 days of use, it would freeze up on me, I had really poor sound quality if I was talking on the phone to someone, and if i put the phone on speaker to try to hear better, it muted the call on my end so whoever I was talking to couldn't hear me. I tried everything possible to figure out why, but I never did find out what caused it. The camera quality on my samsung A52 through straight talk was pretty decent considering it was a prepaid phone, but the same phone ( unlocked samsung A52) that I ordered through here was complete garbage. I couldn't focus on any image no matter how far or close up I was. The macro option wouldn't focus on anything either. If i would try to record a video of anything, it would glitch within 3 seconds of recording and same there was a camera error and then the phone would power off. I paid over $240 for it, and could only use it for 3 months before it powered off in the middle of it charging one day, and it hasn't turned back on since. I thought about returning it for a refund of my money, but I was past my return policy time frame. Of course. Over all I am completely dissatisfied with my purchase.

The phone was in great condition and works exactly like my last one. I bought this one to replace my last A51 after it's screen broke. All i needed to do was remove the sim from my old phone and put it in this one and it was all set, didnt even need to call my carrier. The only complaints I have is that the battery doesn't seem to last as long as my old phone and the screen on this phone is not factory, the old one didn't scratch at all and this one got a tiny scratch the first day.

Phone seems snappy and had a nice screen. But that's about it. It's a Samsung so comes bundled with Bixby which no one wants, plus other bloatware that can't be removed. You can at least disable the Bixby button (revert it back to a power button as it should be). But that's all on a nuisance level. What ticked me off is how Samsung creates so many variants of the EXACT SAME PHONE for multiple carriers. While this was supposed to be an unlocked GSM phone it would only work with a T-Mobile SIM. My AT&T SIM refused to connect. And to make matters even more confusing, when I looked up the IMEI it came back as being on the XFINITY network (Verizon, not GSM). And because of the carrier lock it was limited to Android 11 while version 12 has been available on this model for quite some time. If you must get this phone then get the SM-A515F (International version). Same specs but dual SIM capable and none of this locked carrier nonsense. Sticking with my NOKIA for now. Has it's own quirks but at least it's not a paperweight out of the box.

I really liked the phone it is better than I expected. I would buy it again.
