Excellent Display Port Cables!
I had bought 2 cheaper Display Port cables from Amazon that were $8.99 each. I wanted to connect my Wacom Cintiq to two separate PC's using a display port switcher and USB switcher. My Cintiq monitor kept glitching and even turned black intermittently. At first, I thought the culprit was the switcher, but I was mistaken. That's when I discovered that not all display port cables were created equal. I returned both those cables and searched for the best quality Display Port cables I could find. I read through a lot of reviews and chose the VESA Certified ones from MAXONAR. I ordered two. The Cintiq worked beautifully with my work computer, but the screen glitched with my personal pc. Turns out that the display port female on my personal computer was loose, I switched it to another port and it worked fine. I'm very happy with my purchase.

THIS COUPLER PASSES GSYNC Data and Works with High Refresh Rate Monitors Coupling 2x25 Foot Cables for 50ft Total
Perfect unit. I was able to actually get 85 herts refresh on my new 1440p resolution monitor with gsync and using the following two 25 foot cables, a total of 50 feet away. The quality of the cable matters. KabelDirekt 25 ft 4K 60 Hz DisplayPort cable, version 1.2, male connector with locking and nylon sheath - PRO Series I will next try two 20 foot cables to maybe get the 144 hertz my monitor was advertised for. If you use that brand cable I think you will be in luck. That 25 foot cable by itself (the longest length) can achieve the 144 hertz refresh rate. In my situation I need a bit longer and perhaps I can fit into 40 feet. My hardware configuration : LG 32GK850G-B 32" QHD Gaming Monitor with 144Hz Refresh Rate and NVIDIA G-Sync and Video Card: ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1080 AMP! Edition, ZT-P10800C-10P, 8GB GDDR5X IceStorm Cooling, Metal Wraparound Carbon ExoArmor exterior, Ultra-wide 100mm Fans Gaming Graphics Card

Straightforward DisplayPort Couplers with Reliable Connectivity
I had a generally positive experience with the Cable Matters 2-Pack DisplayPort to DisplayPort coupler (female-to-female). Shipping was prompt, and both adapters arrived well-packaged and in excellent condition. There were no bent pins or visible defects, and the set was ready for immediate use. In terms of product quality, the couplers feel well-made for simple connectivity tasks. The housings are sturdy with a secure fit, and the internal connections appear solid. I used them to extend a DisplayPort connection between two cables, and the ports aligned correctly without requiring excessive force. Once connected, the signal remained stable, and I did not experience flickering or intermittent drops during normal use. These adapters are straightforward in function—there is no signal conversion involved, so they are best suited for extending existing DisplayPort cables rather than adapting to other interfaces. For that use case, they perform reliably and maintain signal integrity for both video and audio as expected. From a value standpoint, this two-pack offers reasonable utility for the price. Having a spare coupler on hand is convenient for setup changes or additional displays, and the set eliminates the need to purchase single units separately. Overall, these couplers meet expectations for simple DisplayPort extension needs and provide dependable performance without unnecessary complexity.

nonstop flickering
2 separate sets of these, both with issues. First set had one that only recognized 24hz (on a 2560x1440 144hz monitor), and the other recognized as 100hz, but flickered nonstop. The second set would recognize the 144hz, but both would flicker continuously, with brief moments of a stable connection. Lowering to 120hz didn't help any, and I am unwilling to sacrifice any more refresh rate than that for a connection. All cables used were tested individually to verify it wasn't one of them, and all cables worked perfectly fine at the monitor's stated specs, leading to the conclusion that these connectors are just bad. Will be looking at active connectors elsewhere to see if they can fill the role I need. 0/10, would not recommend.

Heavy use in an abusive environment lasted 2 times longer than everything else I've tried!
Seriously I'm hard on equipment, most cables last 30-45 days tops. The other couplers I've tried wouldn't last more than 30 and that includes the gold plated $30 ones you can get on amazon. These were $5 each! The first of these just failed today after 90 days and it was a 2 pack for $10 so I'm a very happy customer. On top of that they transfer 4k @ 60hz plus sound with no problem. Just in case someone is trying to do what I am, I am using a MDP to DP cable on one end and a DP extension on the other end, works great and I still show its reading as a DP 2.1 connection. Don't waste your money on the expensive ones.

Only good for DP 1.1
Was using on display set to DP 1.2, would get blinking every few minutes got really annoying. Switched to 1.1 and flicker totally went away. Bought the powered repeater version so I could switch back to 1.2 and now these are collecting dust. If needed for DP 1.1 these will work, anything higher and don't bother. Also only used to put 2 three foot cables together, wasn't going super far. TVs are wall mounted and it's tough to get to the wires so was easier to add onto the cable rather than switch it.

Broken, Not working, Better Now
Neither worked with multiple good cables that work individually with multiple monitors. Tried repeatedly, no signal passes through them. Update: Even after returning them and getting a refund, Cable Matters still continued to try and ensure that their product works. I received a replacement and the new replacement does work.

Good Customer Service
Neither of them worked. Cable Matters contacted me and asked for information about my setup. They determined that the adapter would not work with my display port-to-hdmi cable and offered me a refund. I can't verify if they are defective or not, but I am happy with their customer support.
