It finally broke yesterday after years of abuse. High quality and I will buy again fit my phone no problem and stays wherever you put it.

I tried this with my dashboard. I bought this specific one because it said it was heavy duty and would work on any dashboard. My dashboard is textured and it didn't stick. I followed the instructions and left the sticky pad on the dashboard for 24 hours (actually 28 hours) with a heavy book sitting on it in hopes that would help the pad stick to the dashboard. It came off as soon as I tried to attach the suction cup. I decided to try attaching it to the windshield. So far, so good. I've tried to pull it off the windshield a few times and it seems to be staying on there nice and tight. I'm bummed it didn't work on the dashboard but it's a good phone mount. I have a wallet type case which hasn't worked well with other phone holders. This one holds it well.

I used this OQTIQ gooseneck car phone mount for over three years, since April of 2022, in my 2010 Mercury Mariner. It fit my need for that time since my dash wasn't conducive to other types of phone holder mounts, and I don't like the vent-mount style (why block the vent?). I give it 5 stars for durability and that it can be bent into nearly any position. It stuck to my windshield firmly through all weather extremes and never came off. In fact, today when I was removing it, I wasn't sure if I could without breaking it! So, it's not a phone mount you want to move around much. The drawback to this mount is that it had some vibration when the arm support adhesive comes loose, especially if my phone was not in the holder to hold things down. Also, the long arm gets in the way of putting in a sunscreen in the hot weather. But I could have fixed the arm support with more adhesive pads, and I probably could have mounted the holder to the windshield in a lower position. But for situations that need this kind of mount, the quality of this one and value for less than $15 is great. Glad to give it 5-stars since it served me well for several years.

I look for a few VERY Specific things in a Car Mobile phone Holder. 1. Has to have a decent-sized Rubber cup mount ... that withstands the Heat/ Cooling of a Desert/City climate - without falling off, and or melting.... 2. Has to be long enough to reach from the windscreen to the edge of the SUV's dashboard (Or beyond)... So, that I don't have to stretch, lean - do anything that distracts my normal positioning to access my phone's screen. This Oqtiq has a very strong quick-release suction cup, which is easy to apply... easy to remove, but only separates when I want it to. And the 13" gooseneck is very Sturdy - BUT - it is also bend-y enough to configure into any desired slope / angle. It smartly also comes with a little fitted base for the long arm to rest on - (Which probably explains why the weight of the phone in a moving car doesn't make the whole thing just fall off)... Design-Wise, it's sleeker than you would expect, likely because the arm is a tubular oval and not chunky-round. Should also mention, to-date, the cradle holds the phone well. It is easy to place my tall mobile into the cradle and remove it, but has not (When placed properly against the back) fallen out on its own. In terms of the price - I am not sure how it compares to others ??? - But, it was under $20bucks - and I am VERY happy with basically every aspect of it - mainly that it has (so far) done its job securing a phone I purchased three months ago. So, I'm Happy with it. Thumbs Up.

I purchased this for sexting therefore I needed it to have good suction to all surfaces. It did well in the shower for a while, then all the sudden it kept falling. I got it for my sext friend and now I have to get her another gooseneck. But I've learned I got to pay a little bit more if I want to last longer.

The suction cup? Absolutely unhinged—in the best way. Once you stick it on your windshield, it’s not coming off without a serious conversation and possibly a crowbar. Potholes, sharp turns, sudden stops… this thing just sits there like, “I’m not going anywhere, bestie.” Now let’s talk about the gooseneck arm. Calling it “flexible” is technically true, but also a bit optimistic. Adjusting it feels like arm wrestling a robot. You will question your strength. You may break a light sweat. But once you finally get it into position? Oh, it’s locked in like it just signed a lifelong contract. The phone grip is also impressively secure. My phone hasn’t slipped, tilted, or even thought about falling. It’s being held more carefully than I hold my own life together while driving. The only downside? If you don’t position it just right, it can feel like you’ve installed a small microphone stand in your car. But honestly, that just adds to the drama. Overall, this mount does its job too well. It’s sturdy, reliable, and slightly aggressive about it. If you want something that will hold your phone like it owes it money, this is the one.

So far, this cell phone mount is great! I needed something that would hold my cell phone securely, attach to my (slightly curved and pebbled) dashboard, not obscure my vision while driving, and not block any air vents. I've been using this mount for two months now and have had no problems with slippage, rattling, security, or adhesion: the mount grips my phone tightly (even in its otterbox case) and is easily adjusted for vertical or horizontal orientation, and the suction cup is holding firm to my dash. The placement of the little stabilizer piece is essential to hold the gooseneck arm steady and prevent rattling or excessive shaking; I had to reposition it twice during installation, but once I got it right it was excellent. Installation takes a bit of time - if you're mounting it on your dash, you need to wait 24 hrs to allow the sticker to adhere to the dash before attaching the suction cup - but the resulting stability is worth the time. My phone can be plugged in while mounted, which is great for longer roadtrips or when my battery is low. I haven't yet driven on really rough country roads with this mount, but it's holding steady over the many nasty potholes that pepper my neighbourhood streets, and I'd feel confident recommending it to people who plan to use it mainly in cities or on paved roads. None of the parts seem flimsy or poorly fitted, and I'm particularly a fan of the adjustable ball joint connecting the phone holder to the gooseneck arm, which allows me to position my phone screen at whatever angle I like. We'll see how it holds up through the winter and in more punishing road conditions, but to date I'm very pleased with the quality of this mount, especially for the price.
