Flush it with water first
When someone changed the new catridge first flush it with water otherwise it's outside protective layer choke your machine inlet water filter and causes unnecessary problem.

What I liked: Good overall quality. Activated carbon cartridge is a useful addition to the washing machine filter. Easy to replace and convenient to use. Works well as a replacement cartridge for regular maintenance. No leakage observed, Price is reasonable, fit well with my filter. Compatibility: Compatible with the Purifit Washing Machine Filter and suitable for both top-load and front-load washing machines, works well on my front load. I had used it before on top load also. Things to Know: The cartridge will need to be replaced periodically depending on water quality and usage. Performance may vary depending on the hardness and quality of the water. Verdict: A good replacement cartridge with activated carbon and a practical option for maintaining a washing machine filter.

Cartridge replacement is a hassle. It always requires extra effort to ensure that water doesn't leak from the joint between the blue lid and the Cartridge body.

Easy to install. Leaks when the cartridge is finished otherwise no leaks. Only problem is it is transparent. so if your washing machine is outdoors, algae will start forming in the tube. Usefulness is questionable as I did not see any difference before and after installation of the filter

Value for money product
Product looks promising and sturdy against the hard water. Installation was very easy and I did it myself. It also fits very well on the outer tap of washing machine and no leakage at all.Most important is price that so reasonable.
