Goodnight Lab: A Scientific Parody Bedtime Book for Toddlers (Funny Gift Book for Science Lovers, Teachers, and Nerds)

This is the second time I've purchased this book: once for my niece on her first birthday, and once for a colleague expecting a new baby. Super cute for the scientist, but fun for all! Baby showers that ask guests to bring a baby book have become quite popular and I'm always worried I'm going to get a duplicate of what the parents to be have or that other guests bring. This has become my go-to because it's cute, a great and easy bedtime read, and it's unique!

Great parody of the Goodnight Moon book that many parents read to their toddlers.

This is the cutest and funniest parody to the goodnight moon book… only for scientists! It’s the perfect gift idea for a baby shower to anyone in the science field. It also has several scientific words that your baby wouldn’t normally be exposed to and that’s always a win! Lastly, it’s a board book which is great for your babies throwing phase!

This book made me laugh - so fun! I love it. The Goodnight Moon book that inspired it is one of our little one’s all time favorites. She’s already intrigued by this book and asked for it again after I read it to her one night. We’re practicing saying “Albert Einstein.” It’s a refreshing take on kids books that often have similar repeating themes. Highly recommend this book to others who share the same sense of humor!

We love this book! My girls love to identify the various lab equipment and recite the story with me. I'm only deducting a star, because the book arrived slightly damaged. There are a few scratches on the cover and the bottom won't close completely.

Worth it

This is an adorable, charming book that is a rewrite of the classic book "Good Night Moon" but set in a science lab. There is a photo of "Einstein With A Stern Look" and a "Grumpy Old Professor Shouting Publish". It's perfect for a family that likes science.

Got this for an expecting PhD who read it aloud to us while we laughed at pretty much every page. Good echoes of the original and the perfect book for a STEM baby!

My husband and I are both engineers. We bought this book for our sons who already enjoyed the original. Our family loves the parody! It's opened up a new discussion about a variety of science words with our toddlers.

If you have a scientist or budding scientist in your like, this scientific parody will make you giggle!! Even kids of scientists will be able to relate very well to these pages. The colours, references and illustrations are fantastic! A great addition to any library and for fans of Goodnight Moon.
