I used to control my camera through my phone but this remote is more reliable and convenient, reasonable price and ease to use. The mobile app connects with camera through wifi which has shorter range than this remote. I used it while a food photoshoot and it was great.

I got this to use with my Sony a7iii and it works well. It’s super helpful to not have to use the app to take pictures when you can use this! Connection is straightforward and super quick. Remote let’s you focus, turn on AF, zoom in and out, and take picture and videos. Simple but very useful. Also came with a battery and wrist strap.

Unfortunately, this didn't function for my Sony A7III, which is listed as compatible. I was able to successfully pair the remote to the camera, but after that none of the buttons did anything. The troubleshooting in the instructions were unable to solve the problem. Based on the reviews, mine is probably just a dud, but it was frustrating none the less and I will be returning the item.

I have a setup in my home with my Sony A7IV as my main camera. It really works well with OBS but sometimes I want to be able to snap photos as well. This has been a huge help for that. In addition, I do a lot of long exposure photography and it's also nice to have a way to be hands off with the camera so that I dont introduce any unnecessary blur from accidental camera movement. All in all for the price and its features, I'm definitely on board!

I am used to the old school IR remotes, so this one being bluetooth does take a few seconds for it to start working. But once it is connected it usually works. I feel like it missed a few clicks but I can't be certain. As I have a baby I just smash the button hoping to get a good picture anyways ;)

Works perfectly as a Bluetooth remote for my A7R III. I only use the stutter release and the AF-ON buttons and works flawlessly. I cant speak for the range as I really don't step away from my camera. Ideal for landscape photographers who do not want a wired remote IR wireless IR remote (this has to be pointed at front of the camera). Additionally, I had an issue with my unit which was quickly resolved by HaoX-Photo, excellent customer service!

Echt coole Fernbedienung viel viel besser wie meine alte mit der Bluetooth verbindung ist der Fernauslöser viel viel besser wie mit einer remute Verbindung. Daher lohnt es sich echt so eine Fernbedienung zu holen

Really happy with the cute little remote control. It feels nice in hand and does what it is supposed to do. It works well with my A7 iii. Enable the Bluetooth function and remote control in the camera network settings and press the shutter button and + button together for 7 seconds and the remote gets paired very quickly. Then it works seamlessly. The shutter button also has a half-press functionality, which helps refocus before taking the photo. Overall very happy with the remote. Would recommend.
