This is comparable to the big ones, but it’s LIGHT, starts easily, effortless to use!!!!!!!
Oh.My.Gosh. This LIGHT, effective, quick-starting, easy to maneuver tool is a GODSEND. You have to get the battery separately, but do it. It’s FABULOUS. Why oh why are the other ones HUGE, HEAVY, AWKWARD, Won’t start readily, and require Shrek grip to operate? When they could just be THIS one. Get this for your hard-working wife for her birthday, Mother’s Day, Christmas, or summertime, (but NOT if she wants a sentimental gift! If so, get it just because, or you’ll be in the doghouse.). If she’s going to whack weeds anyway, or thinks she can’t, she will LOVE this thing! Get it for your older family member who still wants to do yardwork. It will extend his/her effectiveness by years.

No battery included
This trimmer does not come with the battery . You have to buy the battery separately.

Company does not respond.
Contacted Ryobi to refund because a wire was sliced and export. Got an ok and sent it. It was sent back to me with no explanation. Original box, never used. Cannot get the company to reply. Horrible to deal with. They responded to the return then nothing and no way to contact them.

Perfect for my little farm for keep it looking trimmed up after mowing! Light weight!

Good quality - functions fine.
It's very similar to one I used to own but came unassembled. I found the instructions for putting it together of little help. The delivery time was much longer than I anticipated due to customs delays. The battery was smaller than the usual 18V so work time was limited. I changed it out for a larger battery I had already.
