Great quality and Great product!
I used it for my 2014 Honda Odyssey with 200K+ miles, it feels like a brand new car! The transmission does not jerk anymore when I was using Walmart transmission fluid. It is definitely worth paying $44 for it!

OEM Honda ATF - exactly what your transmission needs
If you own a Honda or Acura vehicle, this is the transmission fluid you need. The Honda ATF DW-1 (formerly ATF-Z1) is the OEM-specified fluid for Honda automatic transmissions, and using anything else risks damaging your transmission over time. We purchased the 4-pack (4 quarts) for our Honda Odyssey flush, and it was exactly the right amount. The fluid is a light amber color, flows well in cold temperatures, and shifts feel noticeably smoother after a fresh fill. Compared to off-brand ATF fluids marketed as "compatible," the genuine Honda fluid gives us peace of mind. Packaging from Amazon was well-protected with no leaks. The price per quart is competitive when buying the 4-pack versus buying single quarts at the dealership. We do our own fluid services and this makes it affordable to maintain the transmission properly every 30,000 miles. Highly recommended for Honda owners who want to use the correct specification fluid.

2003 Honda Odyssey runs smooth again!
My 2003 Honda Odyssey van with 184k miles has been shuddering when changing gears for a year now, and I have been hearing fast grinding sounds as well. The other biggest “duh” indicator which I ignored was the “maintenance needed” light...I figured it was just the oil lol. Anyway, I was dumb and ignored the signs and noticed the shuddering got worse this last weekend on the freeway so I decided to buy this Honda-spec transmission lube and change it out myself. The owners manual said to use Honda ATF-Z1, with Dextron III as an alternative). A little research shows that this is the direct replacement to ATF-Z1 so I bought 4 quarts. It was super easy as the transmission is under the drivers side and close to the front, and the drain has a 3/4” drive plug (just use your 3/4” ratchet without anything on it). Remember that the drain plug has a magnet built into it to collect metal debris/shards so wipe that clean before you insert back in. I then used a turkey baster as a funnel (detached the rubber-squeezer-part and inserted it into the Transmission fluid dipstick hole) along with another long neck funnel to cleanly fill the transmission back up. Turned on the van and shifted through every available shift position, and then took it for a drive. Went up to 45-50mph and everything in between - it runs so smoothly now! No shuddering or bad indications, also the “maintenance” light is off lol! I’m so sorry I ignored you, van! Everything is running great so far, I’ll update this review if anything changes, which would indicate that not even great transmission fluid like this can save an old transmission on a 2003 Honda Odyssey. But it so far so good! Runs like new again, I could almost cry 😎 Update 3/28/21: Drove around 300 miles last week and had no issues with the transmission performance, still feels like new! Today I completed the 2nd fluid change with this same brand transmission fluid, with 2 more to go to fully drive out all the old fluid - the fluid came out all black as expected, but did look a little bit redder than the first change :) Update 4/20/21: completed the 3rd fluid change for the transmission. Has been running about 5-700 miles since the last change and has still had no issues with this fluid. Will complete another fluid change in about 3 weeks and will update again! Update: 7/9/21: Completed the 4th fluid change! I gave it a much longer time in between this time since it has been running so well. I strongly recommend using this transmission fluid for your old Honda if the owners manual specifies it. It has made the shaky and struggling transmission run LIKE-NEW, no joke. The van is now at 187k miles and going strong again…all except the ol chipping paint issue 😅 lol. Anyway, I’m not sure I need to do another fluid change until maybe next year, and once a year after that. I’ll update this review by end of year if everything continues to run well or not Update 5/1/2022: Van is still running great and shifting like a champ. Today I pumped out 2 quarts of the old transmission fluid with a multi-purpose transfer pump via dipstick hole and added in 2 new quarts of the Honda fluid. I meant to drain/fill the whole amount again but I think I’ll do that in a couple of months instead. I love this stuff Update 7/1/2023: Completed my drain/fill for the year. Van is at about 212K now and still going strong! Still no shuddering or issues in between the fluid changes at all. Update 8/7/2024: Completed my drain/fill for the year. 227k right now and transmission is still showing no issues 👍🏼 Update 9/8/2025: All done with this year’s drain and fill. 230,903 miles on it now but transmission is still going strong. Update 4/29/26: Completed the drain and fill for the year. The van’s two power doors are having issues, the washer fluid tube has dried out and broke, there’s oil leaking out of the back seals, and the blue paint is still chipping away, but the transmission is still working like a champ! 234K now, but getting me through 2 hours of driving every day. Love my old van.

Worked like it should...
Worked great for my 2021 Honda CRV AWD. If doing a simple gravity ATF fluid replacement (which is very different than a flush) only use 2.7 containers. Warm up installed ATF and "top up" a little more if needed. Dumping in full 3 cans is too much. Keep the 4th can on the shelf to check its "settled" levels after 2+ weeks of driving. Being Honda ATF its fluid is RED - like most other ATV fluid. My old (removed fluid) at 160 KMs (100K miles) was almost black. Thus, showing it was time for a replacement as well. Hope this helps others.
