Easy to integrate
I bought this to monitor my garage because that is where I do my 3d printing. This works very well and was easy to hook into my weather station console.

Has been working nicely. It is in a shed to monitor temps for plants in winter. So much nicer than having to walk or in the cold to check.

Tells Water Temp But is Off on the Humidity
Purchased a new Ambient Weather WH31P sensor for my pool to replace another WH31P sensor that was damaged when inserting it in the WH31-SRS Solar Shield I purchased to protect the WH31P from the rain and direct sunlight. Sensor works great except in addition to showing the water temperature in the Ambient Weather app on my phone, it is also showing a 'Humidity' level, the 'Dew Point', and 'Feels Like' readings, which it isn't supposed to display. I emailed Ambient Weather support on 2/20/24 to find out how to get rid of the other readings, but the only thing I've gotten back from Ambient was the ticket number (101794) they opened. I like the Ambient Weather products I have, but their support for their product is lacking if you need help.

TERRIBLE INSTRUCTIONS BUT DEVICE JUST MAGICALLY WORKED!
TERRIBLE INSTRUCTIONS THAT WERE OUT OF DATE AND SIMPLY WRONG. HOWEVER THE DEVICE JUST STARTED WORKING AS SOON AS THE BATTERIES WERE PUT IN. HAS WORKED FLAWLESSLY IN A HIGH HUMID ENVIRONMENT.

Easy to set up. Directions excellent. Easy to use. Works very well. I am using it to record wetland temperature for amphibian studies.

Love that I can keep an eye on temp in my chicken coop.

Fails quickly. Second bad unit.
This is the second of these that has failed. I use it for my Hot Tub to keep an eye on it while I’m abroad. If the power fails or something goes wrong it can freeze. I have multiple different sensors attached to my WS2000 station and they all work and have since 2021. Very not happy with AW on this one.
