Great product for anyone with a car radio that doesn’t have Bluetooth. On first use, you simply search for the Bluetooth device on your phone, connect to it, and that’s it. After that, it connects automatically every time you start the car, confirming the connection with a voice message. The sound quality is very good, and the minimalist design — about the size of a small USB flash drive — doesn’t spoil the look of the dashboard with unnecessary buttons or lights. Two devices can be connected at the same time, so you don’t need to disconnect one device before connecting another. It is powered via USB, so if your car doesn’t have a built-in USB port, you’ll need to buy a car charger for the lighter socket. Of course, this adapter can also be used with older hi-fi equipment.

Really happy with the order saved me a lot of money i wish i had known this before wasting money on changing stereo on Hyundai i20. Easy to use with usb port plays music with good quality including answers calls. Definitely worth it.

So this UGREEN Bluetooth Aux Adapter is sold as a Car Aux Bluetooth adapter, but it will work with other things like HiFi's. I purchased this as I have a HiFi that is quite good but does not have Bluetooth built in and I wanted to stream online radio and Spotify etc from my phone to the HiFi. At first as a workaround I was connecting a 3.5mm to 3.5mm AUX cable from my phone to the AUX input on my HiFi and this works Ok but the phone has to sit connected to the HiFi. I was looking for something that did Bluetooth that could connect to my HiFi and found this Ugreen adapter. This adapter is a 3.5mm socket on one end and a USB plug on the other. Its designed and sold for use in a car as you would plug the USB end into a USB power socket and the 3.5mm AUX connector would link into the AUX input on your car radio. The USB connector is to power the device up. I wanted it for my HiFi so I connected the 3.5mm plug to the AUX input on the HiFi and plugged the USB end into the USB socket on my HiFi, as it has a socket so you can plug in and play audio from a USB stick, but these USB sockets provide power also. You then just pair with your phone, select the AUX input on my HiFi and I was able to play music from my phone to the HiFi via Bluetooth, no cables ! Its worth noting that if my HiFi did not have a USB socket then I could connect the USB end to a USB power plug and it would work the same, as the USB socket is just to power the device. Setup was quick and easy and once you link the Ugreen then it will just work and play the audio to the HiFi as long as it is switched on and connected to AUX. Walking around my house it has a range of apx 10m, which is as advertised. This is sold as Bluetooth version 5, and I have an older Samsung phone and this worked fine with that phone. The audio quality is excellent, no static or humming, as you some times get this with cheap audio adapters. I believe this also enables you to answer calls as well via this as it has a built in microphone on the USB end, but as I am not using it in a car I have not tested this function myself.

I ended up cheaping out when upgrading to a custom stereo in my car and decided to go with a non-bluetooth aftermarket stereo. However, I soon realized that Bluetooth is a huge convenience for me, so I have decided to give this adapter a try, and I have to say, compared to the FM transmitters that I used in the past, these don't have any static that I can hear at all, it might as well be a direct connection between the stereo aux and my phone. This adapter allows for seamless connectivity, though worth noting that when it does connect upon the stereo turning on, there is a typical voice saying "connected", I would have much preferred a feint bleep to tell me whether or not I've connected, and it may get annoying overtime having to hear it over and over. However, for this price and seamless connectivity, I definitely cannot complain and I would recommend you to give it a try if you wish to have Bluetooth in your vehicle. Needless to say, I will be taking this with me to my friend's cars if they don't have Bluetooth, and perhaps they may go ahead and purchase this as well.

This little adapter worked perfectly to add Bluetooth to my old car radio via the aux port. It even allows hands-free calling thanks to the built-in mic, which was a nice bonus. Just a heads-up—you’ll need to buy a 12V to USB power supply separately, as the USB is only for powering the device (would’ve been nice if that was included). Otherwise, it’s been flawless and super handy.
